Carina's story is honestly amazing and inspiring! She went from writing about and reporting on TV as an entertainment journalist to becoming a writer's assistant and then writer on The Originals to now being the showrunner for Roswell - pretty amazing!!

Julie Plec is one of the executive producers and one of them is Carina Adly MacKenzie (She also worked on The Originals & Legacies) and they both love to hire actors they know! That‘s why there‘s so many familiar faces from tvd & to :) You probably don‘t know about this but Julie Plec also had a limited tv show (with only 13 episodes) called "Containment" On this show are soo many familiar faces from TVD & TO as well! ( Chris Wood is one of the main characters and he was killing it!!)

You are confused about Maria's mom. She has a legit mental illness. She thinks the stuff that happened in Independence Day is real.

The mention of Tess in episode 6 catches my attention each time I see this episode. It will be interesting if that is referencing the Tess character from the original show.

ugh i love it sm!! i feel the same way you do about the two ships - Liz and Max have this beautiful development and are so so sweet but malex are just otp from the get go. their love is so angsty and tragic but gives both of them hope too. it’s epic in every way.

I agree it's an amazing show.... so happy we are guaranteed at least 2 more seasons!!! 😊

This show is the best show on the CW and a million times better than supergirl. The feels from it are even more frequent than from TVD. I don't think there was a single moment I was bored or annoyed by the show.
