Unbiased History of Israel (Update)
🕑 Added 2021-12-16 22:51:43 +0000 UTCSup, as you know it's been a very turbulent time for me, but I just wanted to assure you of what I've been doing.
The next video will be the Unbiased History of Israel, its around 80% finished and I'm working daily at it.
Of course this topic is a minefield but I couldn't help myself, its one of the things I've been wanting to do it for a long time, felt appropriate to try out a new vid style with it.
It will be a standalone vid made in a new format that calls back to the earlier more comedic/shorter videos i used to do. The Defenestrations of Prague is the most similar vid to it. If you watch Sseth and other highly edited vid makers like Max0r you might get the idea. I've been meaning to return to that vibe, but didn't want to abandon the quality factor, i've been working some ideas out.
If this video format is successful, it will open the gates for me to try out a vast variety of interesting topics, and not just historical ones. People have sometimes asked for non historical vids, like about Targeryans, or the Old Testament, or Warhammer 40k, so on. The advantage of non-historical subjects is a lesser need for self censorship, for example, so even though its just cogitation its an interesting idea.
This vid is an experiment in a great many ways. For the last 2 months I've been starting and abandoning several different projects (easily over 10, intense soul-searching) trying to find out what exactly I wanted to try out and do, thinking long term, and this one is what emerged as the best to focus on.

This works very good, and its aplicable on many countries. You know, you could also make a somewhat tragic kind of video, like this but with the theme of "barbarians at the gates" but in this case with the story of many countries, for example the promise of the ABC (Argentina, Brasil, Chile) countries (that at one point could push the USA to stop meddling with Panamá and México) but during and after the time of the world wars, degenerated into populism, like giving it that feeling of little dark age meme, just an idea.

Alt history and fictional settings would be REALLY kino and way more safe for edgy humor and def something I'd watch. If you do 40K I expect the Tau to be thoroughly mocked.

I'm a massive 40k (and sci-fi in general) fan and would appreciate the odd 40k video, but I love you for your historical takes. I have been watching since you were just a funny guy people posted on /his/ and got a ton of my friends into history because of you. While it's likely I'll keep watching whatever you make, as you have showed yourself to be pretty darn entertaining, I would prefer more historical content (especially in the style you have been doing the majority of the time!).

The video might be provocative and "unbiased" but I don't think it contains anything worth a takedown for. Demonetization maybe, perhaps likely, but I just wanted to give it a try. There's little to no comedy on the subject online for obvious reasons. Plus I'll have learned a lot just by making it anyway.
