December Update
🕑 Added 2022-12-27 17:00:30 +0000 UTCMy life needs a complete overhaul.
I'm sick, I've been sick, every single month for the past 6-8 months. I'll get better for a couple of weeks and then BOOM something else. I've had covid 4 times, I've had the worst sinus infection known to mankind, I've had the flu, and a stomach bug.....it's never-ending.
I am also EXHAUSTED.
This year I've worked 3 jobs consistently, helped with my family, and had a relationship. The relationship is long-distance and I do all of the driving. I do not stop until my body makes me stop which it has been doing more and more.
Over Christmas I fully overcommitted. I went into it exhausted and came out hanging on for dear life. Thankfully we've had snow squalls for the past 4 days where I live and I have quite literally been snowed in which kept me from driving 6 hours on Boxing Day.
Instead, I tried to rest. After digging myself out and getting Pearl (my car) out which took 3 hours, I went to bed and I didn't get out. It was lovely.
I.....need balance. I know that I need balance. I need to eat better, I need to move more but at the same time I need all the money from my 3 jobs to make things work. So....I have no clue what to actually do.
I did speak to my doctor about being sick - he said it could be autoimmune, it could be long covid which isn't really diagnosed and there aren't treatments for, so we are currently testing everything.
The only other thing that he suggested would be to take a doctor's note and take a month off work but that wont work. No one else does my job on my team so they'd be completely out of luck. The clients I have on the side wouldn't put up with that and I'm sure would find services elsewhere. And my friends on Patreon and OnlyFans haven't already been more than understanding with me taking longer to reply to messages and comments.
Something needs to give but I just don't know what.
I did get sent another job posting which I plan to apply to, the deadline is January 2nd and Katie West is going to help me. It is more money than my current day job HOWEVER, it's only half at home, half in the office and it's an hour away. SO.....I'm unsure if/how that would actually make things easier/better. I could move in 5 months when my lease is up, but rent is more expensive there and I've already been looking at ads and most things are basement apartments which are SO bad for my mental health. I can't live in a cave again.
I'M LOST! LOL
I'm going to post a "fun" update tomorrow.
This is the REAL update. LOL
I hope you all had an amazing holiday season!

Thank you for posting this. I think I saw someone say something like “we are now expected to do more, alone, than what people used to do with a support net.” It’s rough nowadays.
