Wicked Succubi News, September Charges Resumed!
🕑 Added 2020-08-30 01:20:46 +0000 UTC
Greeting my fellow Pervs!
About a month ago I made a post about pausing my Patreon because I didn’t feel comfortable charging you with where my progress was. Today, I come to you to say that I’m resuming payments. That means that if you are still a patron of mine on September 1st, you will be charged! I’m passionate about Succubi with so many plans for what I want to do with them that when I made the former post, I was unsure of a when you would get to first experience Succubi in any form. With a future so uncertain and so much still to do before any version of Succubi would be ready, I felt it necessary to pause my Patreon. I’m glad I did. It gave me space to continue working at a comfortable pace while I could solidify what my plans were for my future updates.
Now I’m feeling confident. I know that everyone is excited to play Succubi. The plans I’ve talked about publicly hasn’t changed much and your first taste of Succubi will be coming early September in the form of the pre-release discussed in the last post. Today I setup the ‘velvet-lounge’ channel on the discord where the pre-release will be posted and discussion of any bugs will take place. Don’t worry, for those of you waiting to hop on the discord, I will still be making a post when the pre-release is ready. It will be coming soon.
As a creator, one of my biggest concerns is to not waste the support I have so generously received. This is why I have a Work-in-Progress channel on my discord. So, I can share my day-to-day doings and so you can check in on the status of an update (as well as have chances to make suggestions to content as it’s being developed. The succubi lewd dreaming mechanic is one such item that was born from this sort of interaction). But I still think it can be hard to see what your support is going towards beyond the basics like tools, licenses for tools, bug support, and continuing to grow my skills. It can also be a little hard to visualize as Patrons, how much work has been done. Then Last night it hit me. Whenever TURBO releases an update I’m amazed by the amount of love and care he puts in his code. Both the complexity of it, the volume, and the novelty. So, I thought I’d share a quick preview of the brand-new scripts made just for Succubi. This is just what I could fit on screen of the 56 brand new scripts coming for the Succubi pre-release beta.
It will be largest update I’ve ever released. For you number nerds and as a comparison, my main Wicked Perversions folder (which doesn’t include my mermaid modifications) is 94 scripts (included in this count is the new code needed to support Wicked Succubi) and then the rest of my scripts are utility scripts for making everything I do in the main scripts easier (which actually has the highest number of scripts in them). I know script numbers isn’t the end all be all. But I think it’s a quick way to see just how much love and attention has been put into succubi so far. And this is only the beginning for our little sex demons.
Lastly, I would like to do a quick poll. I’ve done this poll before but my Patreon has vastly outgrown what it once was.
How would you like to be informed of hot patches?
Each content update gets a new post of course but currently, patches only get released as an edit to the latest main content update post. I’ve received lots of messages from you guys requesting a change to this. So, would you like each hot patch to get a new post?
[Patreon won't let me inline the poll, so poll at the bottom]
Oh, and before I end, I added a translator channel to my discord today. I will be posting instructions for how translators, even none patron ones, can get access to the channel around the time of the pre-release beta going live. If you are a translator and a patron, however, then don't hesitate to message me and I can get you into the channel early!
Now more than ever: Thank you for support, but even more thank you for believing in me! Succubi are just around the corner.
