some skating videos from this week :)
🕑 Added 2025-06-10 16:40:48 +0000 UTCI forgot my buttpads today ;( I was going to practice more double axels, my right hip is SUPER sore though so jumping was a bit painful today. My jumps look much better than I thought, I haven’t videoed these specific jumps since about 5 months ago when I just started skating again after quitting for 5 years. They look far better than when I started. The hardest thing for me has been how weak my body is, and stamina. My legs felt extremely weak when I returned, and I’ve been pushing myself because I want to land double axel SO bad I can’t even express it in words. So I keep overworking my muscles, but I feel so so much stronger now. My right hip flexor is sore today but it’s a sign that it’s getting stronger so that i’ll be able to do that snapping motion faster. I can make a whole video explaining the technique of double axel and what makes it so hard if you guys are interested! the rambling figure skating nerd talk might be sleep inducing 😂
ALSO finally I start driving lessons next week, I managed to save some money so I can finally start them. 😅 Apparently they’ve been more lenient lately passing drivers because of the backlog of test availability. I will work really hard to pass first try🤞🏻 hopefully I can get a test by August! I have to use this special app to get test cancellations because it’s that impossible to get a test at the centres near me. 😑
Anyway, I should have a new video coming tonight :) I recorded one with my new tascam. I’m really happy I got these new mics, I was a bit down when I couldn’t get the CS10-EM’s working but now they do it’s really lifted my spirits. I feel like I can finally do the ideas I had. 😁
I actually talk so much LOL😂 have a good day!!
