ASMR ⋆.˚ ᡣ𐭩 .𖥔˚ whispered rambles about mic stuff and some ear play!
🕑 Added 2025-04-05 22:01:18 +0000 UTCHi everyone!!
I really apologise for the long wait between videos, I have had a nightmare with my microphones and adapters. 😣 I have almost been hesitant to look at anything ASMR lately because I feel so bad for taking time between uploads. I ordered a new adapter for the microphone that wasn’t working, firstly I needed these two rode adapters which took forever to come, and then a splitter cable. Found out I ordered the wrong splitter, so sending that back and hopefully by Sunday I should have the right one. Praying it works with my new microphone. Besides that, my adapter that let’s me plug my SD card into my laptop & record with any USB mics (including the yeti) broke, so I can’t edit any videos or record anything via USB. I rushed to order another one so fingers crossed this should be sorted by tomorrow or Monday. All of this happened at the same time, but anyway, I am excited for everything to be working so I can record lots more new videos with working equipment.
Haven’t been up to too much besides reading, I’m back into books again. Literally glued to books, I cannot get my head out of them at the moment, I feel like I’m going to start talking in poetry soon. I enjoy reading a lot more when the days start to heat up because it makes me feel hopeful and energetic, and I have lots more room to fantasise when it isn’t looking dingy and grey outside lol. I’ve been injured from figure skating, I’m pretty sure I either strained my hip flexor or did some damage to my hip joint, where the cartilage is. I tore the cartilage in my knee years ago from figure skating and it didn’t heal for years, it was incredibly painful, but now it’s healed! The pain in my hip feels slightly similar and it worries me because it’s been almost 2 months of a build up of this soreness in my hips, but mostly my left hip. I’ve been resting this week, stretching it, literally anything to heal it. Just such an annoyance!!
I’ve also been studying, it’s a course that will give me a certificate that allows me to apply to a school I want to go to, I need to dedicate a lot of time to it which I’m kind of not looking forward to because it consists of stuff I already know ;_; but I need to go through it to get the certificate. I have lots of stuff I have to do lately haha, driving, part time job searching again, but I do have my birthday to look forward to! I’m hoping to go out with my mum for the day and take some photos with the camera I bought last year. I went to the cotswolds a few days ago and got some nice photos with it :) I had a lot of fun doing that. I also desperately want to see the Minecraft movie, have any of you seen it? Is it rubbish? LOL. As a long time Minecraft fan I am very skeptical. I am super excited for the built in shaders update though!! That’s going to be awesome, I’ve been playing some modded Minecraft lately when I get the time, super fun!
I hope you guys have a wonderful day, I cannot wait to record with my new mic I really really hope it works once this new cable arrives!!

I'm on episode 6 of Severance. It's getting really good. So much is happening. I haven't seen the Minecraft movie yet, but it looks like a fun-bad movie to watch with a group of friends. What mods are you using for Minecraft?
