Downloads Folder & File Updates
🕑 Added 2022-09-06 17:13:42 +0000 UTCI got a few issues worked out and have made some updates to files and to the downloads folder.
File Updates:
The following files have been updated (attached as well as updated on the drive):
- brazenlotus_ModCORE
- brazenlotus_ModCORE_Crafting
- Tea Party Hot Drink Recipes
- Tea Milling Recipes
- Inventory Not Shared mod (temporarily required for Lotsa Storage items)
Delete the following file from the 'Mods > Shared Files' folder:
- MOD_brazenlotus_BG_Shared_Objects
And if you're getting an LE with the following script file, delete it from your Mods folder:
- brazenlotus_ModCORE.ts4script
You can replace it with the attached version (also updated on the Drive). I've wrapped it in a zip file to prevent Google Drive from converting it to a zip and causing errors.
Be sure to only install 1 of the Tea Party Tea Recipe files so you don't get an error.
Lastly, if you're still having an issue getting your save to load then try following these instructions:
- Remove the 'Lotsa Storage' files from your Mods folder.
- Load your game
- Save your game; I chose to 'Save As' so I still have a copy of the original save if I need it
- Close the game
- Add the 'Lotsa Storage' file back to your Mods folder
- The new save should open without any errors, just know that you may lose the items in your inventory or they may be moved to your household inventory.
There's really not another way to fix this that I know of and I couldn't find anything I could do with the tuning to fix this. They've done something in one of the last patches that I think changed the craft sales table tuning which is what I was using as a base for these mods so it messed them up.
Due to those changes, I would say if you're still having issues then you should remove the 'Mods > Shared' and the 'Mods > Object & Gameplay' folders to see if that solves it. I'm not getting any LE's for those, and none have been reported but they haven't been updated yet either. I'm looking at those later this week once I've gotten the site back up.
Why the File Updates?
I absorbed the 'Shared_Objects' file into one of the ModCORE files and cleaned up some of the tuning.
Google Drive was changing the file type for the .ts4script file which was causing LE's so I needed to find a better way to deal with that and landed on just zipping the two files together to protect it.
The tea tin milling recipes were causing the game not to load for some people and/or for some saves. Due to those issues, the Tea Party recipes needed an update as well. It looks like somehow the tea tin object's instance numbers were conflicting with something in-game along with my Lotsa Storage stuff...but only in some people's games and not on all saves. Instance numbers shouldn't conflict because of how they're generated so I'm at a loss for what happened. I just decided since I was able to isolate the issue I would re-clone them to be safe, hence the need for the teapot recipe updates.
The Lotsa Storage items have been causing a similar issue. It seems like it was rooted in some changes EA made somewhere with inventories, so the core tuning for those got an update too. Turns out they needed to be cleaned up a little anyway so it worked out that I had to review them. The Inventory Not Shared mod got an update alongside of this so that they work properly. I'll be looking at another, more stable way to update these in the future but for now, the Lotsa Storage items are going to require that mod to work.
Site Update
I'm still finishing updating links. With some of the errors people were experiencing I wanted to make sure no other major updates are needed before I make everything public again.
