I’m so sorry for your loss! I’m glad you went to the humane right even though it’s heartbreaking to lose a pet. 🥺

i lost my dog suddenly... i woke up and she was already gone to heaven. that was the most heartbreaking moment and point in my life! i still feel sad that she isnt here with my family. But my mom ended up surprising me with letting me pick out my own dog! so life got a little easier with our new addition to the family. But all in all, i am sorry for your sudden loss as i know how empty your family hearts may feel. But your family will get through it together but with time. <3

My dearest condolences for your loss. Losing a pet is rough, it feels like part of your soul has been ripped out barehanded. I lost my first dog from old age and possible cancer (she was about 19 years old when she past). I had to start back at college the week after and by some grace I made it through. It really is just taking it day by day and just letting out the tears anytime they rise. I had tricked my mind by hidding photos of my dogs since moving away from them so it's not so hard to be without them. This works a little, but I think just remebering them and their joy helps the most. It eventually gets better :)
