The Sims 4 Countryside Cabin Kit
🕑 Added 2021-08-25 23:32:25 +0000 UTCHi everyone! Welcome to my first-ever custom content kit! This is quite a different pack for me, but it was incredibly fun to make and experiment with! Before we get into the good stuff, i would like to apologize for the reduced amount of releases the past month, i had an incredibly busy summer and couldn't post as much as i wanted, i am incredibly grateful for you guys and for supporting me always, thank you π
Now let's get into it! This pack contains:
β’ First-ever Maxis Match frieze, floor trim and roof trim: thanks to my wonderful friend Syboulette i was able to create the first-ever set of maxis match fully custom trims, namely a floor, frieze and roof trim! Completely new meshes and textures;
β’ First-ever Maxis Match staircase and railing: i'm extremely excited to experiment with this more in the future, but yes! I created a set of custom stairs and railings, of course with a matching fence as well. The tall fence comes with a matching gate also;
β’ First-ever Maxis Match custom roof paint: it was a challenge and a half to crack the code of EA's roof atlas texture, but i did it in the end! This is my first roof texture, i plan on doing more but i'm extremely happy with how this one came out;
β’ First-ever Maxis Match custom foundation: from model to texture, the foundation pattern in this pack is fully custom! Thanks again to my friend Syboulette π;
β’ Custom Maxis Match column and spandrel: thanks to the wonderful tutorial by the amazing Qolygonal i was able to create a custom column and matching spandrel! They're both fully custom meshes and textures (although simple shapes, i would like to create more intricate ones in the future);
β’ High-Quality original textures and models: as always, i created every asset from scratch, without re-using EA content. This is a Custom Content Pack and not an official Maxis Studio Pack!
As i said on Tumblr, this is not the end of Buy Mode object packs, don't worry! I just wanted to try something new and i hope you guys like it π I wanna do more build kits in the future though, so definitely let me know if you have any cool ideas for interesting themes (modern themes especially!) i would love to hear from you!

β’ 27/08/2021: Updated Tall Fence Medium Level Of Detail: If you were playing on medium graphic settings or lower, the tall fence might've appeared short, with a weird texture and just wrong, that has now been fixed. Please redownload the pack! Thanks to @melinsimsland on Twitter for the report!

This is sooo cool, but do you think your H&B store appliances will be updated any time soon? I love that store but It looks like mr Landgraab may end up hostile taking over H&B and building a housing development on that land due to appliance failures, recalls, and plummeting H&B stocks! lol!

Great kit! I noticed that the tiny balustrade does not connect with all gates though, namely the squealer. It stops short of connecting.
I love the stairs can't not wait to make a build with this one!

This kit is cool! Great job! Since you are asking, would love to see more Rustic Industrial style items! Love the mix of metal and wood. I know that EA is releasing the Loft Kit tomorrow, but it seems a b it chintzy on the content... no real large windows etc.
