In other words, a disaster of abundance. Sometimes I think that with the amount of photos I create with people each month, I could sustain my Patreon for a year — assuming at least half of the photographers let me use the images here.
I’m deeply proud of the work I do, and I want to share it as generously as possible on my social media, especially here since it’s my main platform. But when I’m on tour, my main job takes about 10 hours a day, leaving me only a few hours for health and education routines—and not enough time for social media. By the time I sit down at my laptop intending to schedule posts for Patreon, I forget about half of the ones I meant to prepare, and for the other half I can’t remember whether I’ve already shared them or not, haha.
I believe it’s a good problem to have, but I also know this is part of my creative life that needs improvement.
I don’t know how other models systematize the photos they receive—whether they manage to keep everything in one online cloud or travel with a hard drive like I do. I feel like I’m showing less than 10% of what I actually do as a creator. I’m not sure if that percentage is higher or lower for others.
But if one day I get stuck on a deserted island, where Wi-Fi only works for uploading content and not consuming it... I’ll finally get organized with my entire legacy. :D
