Towering Tam + Story
🕑 Added 2020-07-05 19:05:52 +0000 UTCTam is at it again. Imagine inviting a girl over to your DnD group and it turns out she's just a demon looking to mess with some unsuspecting victims.
-
You knew you had a bad feeling about the quiet girl who would frequently visit the comic shop you worked at. So you were hesitant to let her join your DnD group but she was cute so you and your pals didn't mind much.
She waited before everyone was sat around the table with their character sheets laid out before pulling up the GM divider. Once the miniatures were put into place and the session was about to begin, she began chanting. Your friends thought that it was just her setting the mood but you felt your stomach begin to tie in knots. An intense glow erupted from behind her divider and before long a flash of light enveloped the room, blinding you.
Once your vision came back, you darted your eyes around and immediately noticed that you were no longer in the back room of the store. You spot your friends in the distance wearing their characters equipment and then you realized that somehow you're in the game as your characters. Somehow that girl and her chanting was responsible.
You've looked through the playbook of this campaign before though. So you already know to prepare your party as this is the part where the large nasty demon lord shows up and you drive back his horde. However instead of the blood curdling howl the book mentions, you hear a giggle that rumbles the ground.
After that tremors appear that get closer and more powerful each time. A large female demon shortly appears, towering over the city's walls. She places her hands on the ramparts and grins as she feels how fragile it is and how easily it'd crumble beneath her power.
Hi little heroes" she says in a booming derisive voice, made much more intimidating by her gargantuan size. The large demoness daintly waves at your party. She was absolutely colossal and easily dwarfed the barrier protecting the city which was larger than even it's tallest buildings. She could easily crush everything inside if she wanted. All the lives inside were unquestionably at her mercy and she knew it.
"Wow, I can't believe you boys fall for this everytime. " she said holding back laughter. Despite her evident joy, you felt nothing but pure dread and terror. Her sly smile betrayed the imminent death you sensed. Regardless, you gripped your sword. The heroes always prevail, right? She could sense your determination and her smile widened.
"That won't work y'know" she shouted giddily. "I am a God here, soooo...", the implication being she's quite literally unstoppable. She shakes the wall, not even glancing down and shakes your rogue friend off causing his surprise attack to fail. Your mage is driven insane after a Perception roll to gauge her unbelievable power, and you... well you get the satisfaction of being right in your initial reaction to this succubus god. As soon as she sucks out your soul, you know she'll do it again, and no once is gonna stop her.
"Wow, their souls were pretty good. Soon I should be able to take my true form in the real world." and that's when the fun will really begin.
