🕑 Added 2024-10-26 21:00:36 +0000 UTCHey guys. As expected and foretold in a post I made on Discord a couple of months ago, the family expansion has in fact made work on C13 AEGIS much slower. Still, whenever i have some spare time, I try to fine tune the experience, because let's face it, LCS is still not at the level of consistency that C13 AEGIS is famous for. But of course i squeeze in some feature creep here and there as well.
What's new here:
tonemapping saturation tweaks
reworked flat curve to actually be flat - behaves somewhat more linear-esque. It's overall dimmer, but provides more representative colors across the spectrum.
added a new glare preset: HORIZON
it's more similar to the first aegis 2.0 teaser with more bloom and glow, particularly at daytime. It's what's used in the video.tweaked star glare on the AEGIS spec glare to be less pronounced at day
increased reflections
minor fog tweaks
In the meantime I have been working on a new experiment, and the lessons learned therein may just lead to a full rework of the lighting approach for the LCS version of the filter. there is a dashcam option available in c13 aegis, even the free version on overtake.gg
