Before anything, I'd just like to say that the release date for the Prologue Demo is December 12 2022 on itch.io! It'll be free for everyone. After that, the subsequent betas will be on Patreon until we polish them up. I'm planning on having the entirety of Chapter 1 available for free eventually.
The original release date was set on the 7th, but it turns out the convention I was gonna advertise to is tomorrow, the 3rd. It's not at a state to be released yet, though it is very close. At the moment, we're just finishing up coding the sprites and testing for bugs.
I'm happy with the state the prologue's in, though it is admittedly pretty short with playtime. It just spans two in-game days and introduces the plot, setting and characters. I think the rollout would be better after this because we'd have the initial codes and assets down tbh.
I will be posting the entirety of the OST over the upcoming months for our $20 and above Patrons!
Development Progress
- Redid the main menu GUI entirely. Looks way better now! Some things are a bit off, and will be fixed in the next release
- 9 Characters with Sprites, main LIs have multiple sprites and outfits
- 3 CGs (2 will be on the prologue)
- 10 Backgrounds (In the future, along with my own backgrounds, I'll just hire other people)
- Fully customizable player character with custom name, pronouns, and biological sex
- 8 OST, more to come
- Very happy with the dynamic dialogue trees!!
- Character journal + Inventory system
