2. Patreon pause for August
I'm pausing Patreon for August. This means you will NOT be charged on September 1st, and this also means the content cycle for August is paused (ie no polls and no rewards.)
The reason is simple: I want to make more time for my other projects (and because I don't want to have 3 months worth of backlog)
3. 「Quick Fics」Collection begins!
Quick Fics is a free collection of fanfics/short stories (<10K words) about sexy scenarios of pairings I like. The goal of this project is simply to get these stories out of my system so they don't keep taking space in my head, and as practice for my eventual original eroge project.
Note that ALL my projects will NEVER have NTR (all flavors: netorare, netori, netorase.) Please look elsewhere if you want those type of content.
Pairings are: MxF, MxFxF (Threesome) and will mostly focus on sexual content.
The first story in the collection is Summoner x Loki (both from FE Heroes) But here are some pairings that I'm interested in producing in the future:
- Corrin x Camilla (both from FE If/FE Fates)
- Summoner x Nerthuz (both from FE Heroes)
- Yuri x Judith (both from Tales of Vesperia)
- Roy(grown up) x Cecilia (both from FE The Binding Blade)
- and more
Here's a WIP screenshot. I'll make a custom UI later but that's the thing about this project, I want to simply focus on the content.
Lately I've been enjoying painting backgrounds so this project and Emerald Dawn are perfect for that. Speaking of Emerald Dawn:
4. Small Emerald Dawn update!
To be honest, I haven't made a lot of progress with Emerald Dawn apart from writing because I overwhelmed myself.
First, I really wanted to port Emerald Dawn to Godot, but I've been demotivated to do that because I'm just "re-inventing the wheel" and I wasn't doing a good job.
Second, animating is very frustrating. Simple animations are not that big of a deal, but whenever I try complex scenes with lots of layering it just makes me want to rip my hair out.
Third, I have an "ideal" vision for Emerald Dawn: it should be made in my custom VN engine in Godot, it should have captivating animations, and it should have a beautiful UI/UX.
So basically, I've been spinning my wheels obsessing over things that are not the actual content. Animations are debatable, but I'd rather have a finished story than clunky animations.
So what now? I'm dropping my custom engine and stick to Ren'py. For animations, I'll only add them AFTER I finish writing/drawing the actual story. I want to focus on the actual, real content.
So that's what I've been doing lately and I can't express just how much that actually reduced my stress. It's good to be ambitious, but sometimes, sticking to familiar and comfortable is the way to go.
I've been adding CGs and redrawing some while writing the new story update. Here's one for the massage scene. It's a simple one, but an absolutely necessary one :D
I won't post CGs of the new story content for obvious reasons, but I may post more new CGs/CG redraws for the base story ^^

I'm finally out of my creative rut. I know I've said that a few times before but this time it feels like it will actually last. Pretty excited to work more on Emerald Dawn and Quick Fics ^^
This post is getting very long, so let me end this with another Rhea! It's inspired by the current Heroes Journey (Meditation Retreat) I wonder, can Byleth really meditate if he's with Rhea?🤔🤔
