SURVIVING PURGE update #14 (new demo)

Before you start the demo, you should know that we've concentrated mainly on the framework code and the first dialogues for this second glimpse of the game. There are many gameplay elements yet to be integrated, such as different soldiers and skills (we'll be presenting these new elements in a few days' time in a new update). Some sound design has been taken over from Robin Morningwood, but will be changed in the next version of the game (as well as the addition of voices). We've also set fictitious prices so that everything can be unlocked quickly in this first demo.
Apart from that, you can discover the first characters and the general atmosphere of the game!
Please let us know what you think in comments or on Discord. A Surviving Purge room has been created on our Discord server so we can discuss it together.

I get the same issue on a MacBook Air M2. I haven't tried changing the text speed yet though.

New member here, so I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but the game can crash after the conversation ends with Gladios (after the first defense game). I don't know why, but changing text speed from "instant" to "normal" fixed it from crashing after I got to that point in the game again.

Ok, It seems that the game can have issues of several orders of magnitude on Android. I'm not sure why, and it will take a lot of time to fix this. I'm sorry.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9, but the version with 8gb RAM... I must say, all other aspects of the demo runs perfectly fine on my device, so hopefully this will be an easy fix 😅

That's interesting, it seems your device can't play the hotscene videos. Can you tell us what's the model of your device?

...So, not sure if it is me or something else, but, regarding the Android version, the demo stalls at a black screen when Achilles goes looking for the source of the noise in Gladio's Workshop, but if I skip it, then I can continue with the demo from the point of Gladio explaining how he can upgrade my recruits... 😅 ...Also, there's nothing loading in the Holojerk feature too... 🤔

Good demo! I liked the addition of hard mode and the ability to purchase upgrades, and am very curious to see how that functions in the live game. No real negative notes, given that this is a demo helping us explore concept. Keen to see where else this goes!
