Chapter 110: 10 Percent?
🕑 Added 2025-03-09 13:17:05 +0000 UTCAfter the initial familiarization, Xu Yuan, who was controlling the mecha’s movements, began to perform more and more complex movements.
He adapted quickly.
He fully mastered the mecha movements corresponding to his fingers, and quickly completed the comparison of the stimulation intensity of the soul power corresponding to the force on the soul guide array, and applied it to actual control.
Generally speaking, a mecha is not its own hands and feet, and its operation requires a conversion program, so it is very difficult to control.
Just like playing games, there are corresponding buttons for controlling game characters, but there are very few players who can truly achieve complete unity of their own thoughts and the heroes they control, and control their actions completely as they wish.
Generally speaking, even with a long period of running-in, one can only be familiar with the general heroes in the game. However, those extraordinary heroes that require true mental and physical unity to operate cannot be mastered by simple familiarity. Even if the operation is achieved through repetitive practice, it is impossible to find the best entry opportunity at the right time in the real game and push the operation to the extreme.
The same is true for mecha control.
If you don’t have talent, even after practice, you will probably only be able to simply repeat the operation of the mecha.
Even if you learn someone’s unique skills, it is just a superficial display, and you will not be able to find opportunities in real combat, and you will not be able to truly use the mecha to its full potential.
It Is precisely because of this that mechas are gradually being eliminated from the highest level of soul masters.
After all, such talent is even rarer than pure combat talent and is difficult to train. This is equivalent to adding a restriction on the basis of the many existing talent requirements, requiring strong talent and achievements in secondary occupations, as well as the so-called talent for mecha control. All these conditions combined have resulted in very few soul masters having the opportunity to become top mecha masters. Mecha masters are money-burning, and there are external factors such as the shortage of Divine Craftsmen leading to the shortage of sky-forged metals.
All these conditions combined have caused mecha masters to gradually decline.
As generally known to the public, the reason why the Mecha Master was replaced by the Battle Armor Master is that the top soul masters discovered the so-called Battle Armor Master in order to maintain their own status.
But in fact, it is simply because the Battle Armor Master consumes less energy, has low requirements, and the current upper limit is high.
Otherwise, if there really was enough Sky Forged Metal, and a true God-level Mecha appeared, that is, a mecha made entirely of Sky Forged Metal, and the core array engraved in it could reach the tenth level or even the higher eleventh level in the soul guide’s judgment, then the status of the Mecha Master would definitely not be what it is now.
Even if there is only a slim chance, there will definitely be many crazy soul masters pursuing that god-level mecha!
Absolutely.
Especially those monsters and geniuses who are extremely excellent in all aspects.
Shrek happens to be the gathering place of such monsters, so if a god-level mecha really appears, the atmosphere of the mecha masters here will definitely not be as stagnant as it is now.
Feeling that 10% of his soul power had been consumed, Xu Yuan stopped trying.
In just ten minutes, Xu Yuan consumed 10% of his soul power.
This is just a warm-up, not a battle.
Simply operating the mecha to perform actions consumes 10% of your soul power in ten minutes. If you have just been engaged in a fierce battle, then the consumption in these ten minutes will be at least 30%, and if the battle is more intense, it is possible to consume 40%.
If the mecha is equipped with an energy-type soul guide device driven by soul power, the consumption will be even higher.
“This is probably because the proportion of my soul power in energy drive is too high.”
Although in this operation, Xu Yuan did not fully utilize his own soul power, but instead activated the energy already stored in the mecha, but in order to manipulate it more precisely, he mixed his own soul power with the stored energy and operated them together in the soul guide array.
This ratio is not low.
Xu Yuan was also adjusting the ratio of the two energies.
The quantitative stimulation of energy on the soul circuit can cause a quantitative change in the strength of the mecha’s joints, and this quantitative stimulation also needs to be controlled. Xu Yuan’s control over his own soul power can naturally maintain the stimulation of his soul power on the soul circuit according to his wishes. However, if he guides his own soul power and the external energy to stimulate the soul circuit together, the degree will be difficult to control.
It was also becausee he had experience in controlling the vitality of heaven and earth and had mature skills in guiding external energy that he was able to quickly find the ratio that suited him and adjusted the ratio of soul power and the energy stored in the mecha itself to one to three.
This is the optimal ratio for him to use his soul power to mobilize the vital energy of heaven and earth when he uses the Tianyuan Brush martial spirit.
“How is it? You have also noticed the consumption of your soul power, right?” Xingyu stepped forward and said to Xu Yuan with a smile.
Although he had a smile on his face, Xingyu’s heart was churning violently at the moment.
This junior has an incredible talent for learning mechas. He seems to be born for mechas.
If he continues to persevere in the future, he may become a master of mechas!
Although he was so shocked and excited, Xingyu had to act like a teacher on the surface, otherwise he was worried that Xu Yuan would become proud and complacent and not study hard in class.
“Yes, Senior, the mecha consumes too much energy.”
Not counting the large amount of rare metals consumed in the production of the mecha’s huge body, just each energy replenishment is also an expense.
Of course, compared with the consumption of making mechas, this energy consumption is much easier. After all, the so-called energy can also be charged by the soul master himself when he is free. There is an energy storage device in the mecha, which stores energy similar to soul power, called quasi-soul power. It also stores electricity, but when the mecha is in use, the internal structure of the mecha is needed to convert electricity into quasi-soul power, so that the soul master can more easily guide this part of energy with his own soul power.
With the development of soul guide technology, electricity has long been used. Soul-like power can be converted using electricity. This can be achieved through external devices when the mecha is charging, without the need to set up additional conversion devices inside the mecha, thereby reducing the burden on the mecha. Therefore, most mechas store soul-like power.
Of course, some soul masters have a better control over electricity and can use electricity directly as energy without the need for external conversion devices, so they will choose electricity for energy storage in their mechas.
In addition, the soul power of the soul master can also be stored and stored in the energy storage device together with the soul-like power.
Xu Yuan showed an expression of approval.
“It’s only been ten minutes, and I’ve consumed 10% of my soul power.” Xu Yuan was also very serious.
Xingyu’s face froze.
“10%?”
