Chapter 107: Expectations
🕑 Added 2025-03-08 13:02:01 +0000 UTCThe star power itself has different divisions. The star power that comes from the natural emission of the universe is the most primitive star power. After being transformed by Douluo Star, some of it will become refined star power.
The cultivation of the two kinds of star power is naturally different.
The benefit of the star power that Yun Ming mentioned was to get rid of the constraints of the plane, so naturally the original star power was the best. However, the original star power that could fall into the Douluo Star was pitifully small.
The cultivation of star power is naturally divided into three categories.
First, there is the purest path, which is to completely refine the most primitive star power. There is no soul master who takes this path, not a single one. Firstly, it is difficult, and secondly, the primitive star power is naturally scarce. As a second choice, soul masters who refine star power to cultivate their soul power usually refine the primitive star power occasionally. Most of the time, they refine the normal star power after being assimilated by Douluo Star, which can be considered to be effective, but not much.
But even so, a soul master who has reached level 98 can proceed quite smoothly in the process of breaking through to level 99.
It Is foreseeable that if one can take the purest path, then the possibility of becoming a god is real.
Unfortunately, even this second-best option would hamper many geniuses throughout their lives, causing them to be unable to maintain the normal speed of soul power cultivation, and ultimately end in a miserable way.
Even the assimilated star power is more difficult to refine than ordinary vitality. Although the effect is better and it is extremely effective in breaking through bottlenecks and refining soul power, if one really uses star power as a complete foundation to increase soul power step by step, its speed can only be described as a turtle crawling.
Possessing star attributes is only the basis for mobilizing and influencing the power of stars between heaven and earth, just like possessing fire attributes is the basis for transforming soul power or vitality into fire attributes.
Simulated environment?
In an environment with rich star power, one can only use the star power to refine soul power, and then absorb the vitality of heaven and earth to increase soul power. The speed of cultivation can be greatly increased. As for cultivating star power in an environment with rich star power? It can only be said that it is faster than in a place with thin star power. It also depends on the soul master’s own refining speed.
The soul master's efficiency in refining vital energy and star power is not a base number in itself. This is the root of everything.
In the process of cultivation, using the power of stars to temper the soul power is the second type of cultivation of star power. It is also the method of using star power to promote cultivation. It is the most common one, but it is also unable to enjoy the bonus mentioned by Yun Ming.
The pure path will be more difficult to practice, and the growth of soul power will be as slow as a turtle. However, by using the power of the stars to temper the soul power, the soul power will grow faster and the quality of soul power will be higher than that of ordinary soul masters. Therefore, the latter is the most common.
The third category is to develop the attributes of stars, which is just the development of attributes, that is, the practice of mobilizing the power of stars and transforming the attributes of stars.
This can be done simultaneously with the first two categories.
Back to the topic.
There was naturally a reason why Xu Yuan thought of all this.
He looked at the three scattered figures in the mecha control class and felt helpless.
Mechas shouldn’t be left idle like this.
Although the path of cultivating pure star power is difficult, what is actually more difficult is the cultivation environment. If there is rich original star power, the speed of cultivation can naturally be accelerated.
As for the second type, the way of tempering soul power with star power is not only for soul masters with star attributes. If the environment is right and there is rich star power to assist, it can be tried occasionally.
So, what if we can artificially find an environment with rich star power?
For example, we can drive a mecha into space to practice.
Currently, the Federation’s exploration of space is still in its initial stages, but it has already mastered the basic technology to break through the gravity of Douluo Star and enter space.
If this kind of technology is integrated into mechas, it will naturally help mecha pilots enter space.
As for the problem of survival in space, mecha can also solve it.
Of course, this is just a hypothesis. Whether to really develop in this direction depends on the choice of the mecha master himself.
As for Xu Yuan, he would definitely choose to explore this direction on his mecha, because he really wanted to go to space to practice.
“In addition to these functionalities, the biggest benefit of mechas is their advantage on the battlefield.”
The bigger the size, the more destructive power.
The red-level mecha master might not be as powerful as the four-character battle armor master in terms of explosive attack power, but in terms of the overall damage caused, it is enough to catch up.
Large-scale coverage strikes are the correct way for mechas to explode.
Mechas can draw on external energy, which is something that battle armor cannot achieve.
The initial development of mecha was for the pursuit of strength. The reason why battle armor masters are more powerful nowadays is naturally because battle armor is more elite.
Being lighter not only can it better enhance the power of soul masters, but its biggest advantage is that it consumes less energy to produce.
Otherwise, if there is a mecha made entirely of sky-forged metal, its power must be far beyond the four-character battle armor.
The mecha Is larger in size, and it will have more and stronger core magic arrays engraved on it. There is no reason for it to be weaker than the battle armor.
The reason why the Mecha Master is not as good as the Battle Armor Master is purely a cost issue!
And Xu Yuan has no shortage of costs for the time being.
He is also a blacksmith.
Although he learned the auxiliary forging method, there is no doubt that he has an unquestionable talent in forging.
The First Thousand Forgings was mastered by Tang Wulin, but in the subsequent forgings, Xu Yuan was confident that he could make rapid progress on his own.
This is the confidence that the spiritual connection brings him.
In the future, he also has the potential to become a master craftsman in the world.
Naturally, he would not be short of Tianduan metal, and he also wanted to try the strength of the mecha forged by Tianduan.
The path of pure star power can make the breakthrough to level ninety-nine smoother, but Xu Yuan has no plans to take this path so far.
Yun Ming told him this a year later, and he was still refining the vital energy of heaven and earth to practice, rather than refining the power of the stars. Of course, he would also spend a certain amount of time every day drawing on the power of the stars to temper his soul power and blood.
In other words, Xu Yuan took the second path.
He gave up the first option.
However, it does not mean that he will not study the first path.
“Abyss, this is a great opportunity. I am not a child of nature, I don’t have a golden dragon spear, nor a silver dragon spear. The huge energy of the abyss is of no help to me at all.” Xu Yuan thought to himself: “Before I come into contact with the abyss, I must find a way to have the energy to devour the abyss. This is my goal.”
The power of the stars, the most primitive power of the stars, study this most primitive power, study how to refine it, control it, and devour it!
