Getting beach body ready even when you’re still breastfeeding…
🕑 Added 2024-01-03 16:47:06 +0000 UTCWoke up this morning to have one packet of instant café Bustillo espresso a super large, helping of super greens, mixed with walnuts and some homemade vinaigrette and then I keep my tummy, full and hydrated with a wonderful, homemade Myers lemon, lemonade, mixed with Stevia for a little added, sweetness and lots of water to keep that milk abundant for my little one!!! (Please use caution when using any alternative sweeteners, even certain brands of Stevia can have additives. I buy the organic Stevia with no fillers and no extra stuff put in it. Fake sweeteners like aspartame and Splenda can be harmful to gut bacteria and your baby!!!)
Breastfeeding has caused me to struggle a lot with my weight as the prolactin and all of the hormones that are used in the body to make breastmilk can actually sometimes make women gain a LOT of weight. If you’re one of those “lucky ones” 😳😑 that happens to gain weight like me from all of these hormones in our bodies, this is what I do to shred some pounds quickly and still be able to maintain my milk supply for my little ones.
Mixed power greens and walnuts are super foods, and very good for your breastmilk. One of the most important aspects of breast-feeding is keeping your body hydrated and full of nutrients. Always turn to nutrient dense foods and lots of hydrating drinks such as homemade lemonade, etc. always talk to your doctor before trying any new diet program supplements or exercise program.
I don’t recommend dieting during the first year of life as your body will need extra calories to make the amount of milk that your child needs at that age. As your child grows your body makes the milk that your child extracts so if your child is extracting less milk, your body will make less milk as the child grows. Your milk also changes as your child grows and it’s incredible. How are wonderful amazing human bodies know exactly what nutrients and how much fat content our milk needs in order to nourish our children at whatever age or stage of life they are in! The human body is an absolute Marvel and making milk is my super power! After giving birth, of course, because whoa that was the biggest accomplishment in my life!
Human milk does a body good, but did you know that other types of milk can actually strip your bones of calcium? Cow milk is not made for humans and his undigestible for humans in the way that we think we are getting all of these health benefits from it is actually harming us. Turn to human milk for humans. It’s the best choice and get your body Beachbody ready by making a few little tweaks to your diet or exercise program of course, after talking with your doctor and let’s shed those pounds before we get out on the sand!
But ladies, even if you don’t shed those pounds before getting out there on the sand, wear your bikini, loud and proud because body positivity is one of the most important things! your self image and loving your self teaches your children great self-esteem, and to love themselves as well. they are our mirror image!
Have a blessed, beautiful day!
