Meteor Impact Variant Suggestions!

The first release of this month is a little later than I'd like since I had to do some commission work, sorry about that!
This map is a work in progress, just wanted to let y'all know I've got something in the pipeline :)
Also I'm looking for suggestions for the variants for this one, I'll take my favourite ideas and turn those into variants for this release.
Ok so the theme of this map is a Meteor has smashed down in a forest and now is leaking 'Astral energy' which is changing the land around it. So with the basic idea in mind, what sort of variants do you think would be cool for it?

Nordic/celestial I suppose. Runes have a big emphasis in my game. I'm not sure how you're drawing the forest but sort of moist lush dark green mountain coniferous trees would look really nice and contrast the brightness of the fallen star.

Very cool idea Zach, do you have any specific runes in mind or ok with whatever I come up with?

One that I think is very straight forward but very evocative would be it almost like a burning radiant star that crashed and it has runes inscribed all over it floating about. Would be perfect for my game 🤞
