CRIT Awards nominee + Map update
🕑 Added 2023-06-07 12:12:02 +0000 UTCHello!
So... I broke my router and was without internet for at least 6 months! Ok it was 3 and a half days but it felt like 6 months, absolute nightmare!
Thankfully it is back up and running and to my very pleasant surprise I come back to find I have been nominated in the CRIT awards for 'Best map designer' which is wild! I have no idea who nominated me, please let me know if it was you (or several of you, I'm not sure how nominating someone works) so I can thank you!
If you'd like to vote (for any of the other amazing nominees if you'd like, not specifically for me) then you can do so here: https://critawards.mystrikingly.com/

Small update on the map, still coming along! The base is very close to done, still need to add lighting and shadows which will be a little more complex than normal since the lighthouse will be the main light source in this map.
Currently I am making a eldritch tentacle ground texture specifically for the eldritch version of this map. I also need to make assets for the chains, dead whale/sea creatures, crabs, fish and meat piles.
I need to figure out the best course of action for the water and its phases as the lighthouse pushes it out of the way. After that I'll be able to work on the other variants like grassland, snow, desert etc, I think I'll release the phased map first and then update the pack with the other variants as I finish them so y'all not waiting too much longer.

Well thank you so much! I really appreciate it <3 And I have to ask, who are your other 2 favourites?

I'm pretty sure I nominated you since you're one of my three favorite map designers:)
