June - Week 1 update
🕑 Added 2025-06-08 05:08:05 +0000 UTCI wasn't feeling particularly inspired to dive into the Charlotte level 1 sexy encounter inside IDM After Dark. I had it open in the studio to start working with, suffered a crash, loaded it again, my PC rebooted overnight for Windows updates, and I decided enough was enough and that I would leave it be for now.
Instead this week was all about scripting Junko level 0 text message exchanges, and re-writing the prologue in preparation for putting the full prologue scenes into the game. This should be a major improvement to understanding what this game is all about and how we got into a repeating week.
In addition to introducing Sathuriel the demon properly, it will include the ability to customize your player name. Not a big piece of code, but some people really enjoy getting to insert themselves or a chosen name into the narrative. So while I will continue to refer to him as Dean, officially, your main character will be named whatever you like starting at the end of this month.
Next Up
Next week I have a long slate of renders to do to make the prologue pretty. There are 94 still frame renders to do for this scene, and that's before I consider adding any animations to it. Doable, but I will have to set a good pace to get as many done as I can.
