Always good to hear from you Tom. That other guy was annoying. I was driving and had to turn it off, he was giving me road rage.

What people don't understand is that DEI is there to help get people that can add the most value to a team. Which is not what is happening now. https://www.npr.org/2024/04/11/1243713272/resume-bias-study-white-names-black-names https://www.kcl.ac.uk/research/the-resume-bias-how-names-and-ethnicity-influence-employment-opportunities https://hbswk.hbs.edu/item/minorities-who-whiten-job-resumes-get-more-interviews Consistently, study after study has shown that there is significant hiring biases against minorities. It is common for more qualified candidates are being overlooked for someone who isn't a minority. DEI attempts to rectify this.

isnt it just the best person for the job regardless of color? isnt that what we all want?

Here we go again, blame "DEI" hiring. It really just screams "Nobody can do a job as good as a white male straight christian can do it" If people *ACTUALLY* cared about the most competent person being hired and promoted that would naturally result in greater diversity to reflect the hiring population not less and even then consistently a diversity of perspectives is a resource that should not be overlooked.

Yep! I roll my eyes at the woke stuff in gaming just as much as the next guy but these DEI boogey men believers say the most conspiratorial BS that just borders on racism.

Dei as a Problem in the Silikon industry ist the dumbest Shit i have Heard. Dude, the entire industry ist build on american, Chinese and Indian excellence. That was some racists horseshit from right there

Good pushback on that DEI nonsense rant, tom! Using that junk to explain bad products only distracts from the real issues!
