these lasers are too weak for a line separator but scanning the beam with a moving mirror could work. also the best reflecting option would have been dielectric mirrors but allen already had first surface mirrors on hand when he was ready to fix the burning mirrors lol

Would it just burn a hole in prisms, instead of using mirrors? Maybe a linear spread would be better, kind of like those rust removing lasers? Then you could have a full laser plane instead of a laser grid. No escape.

Really scary video, I think it's extraordinary how well and non-judgemental you're treating others - even when they're operating in full-chaos-mode. I now wonder how much of a grid could be created (and like similar to disco laser painters) if the beam moves inside the box whether that's enough energy.
