Reminds me of the time my friend told me in college that I slept soundly through an earthquake. I was on the tenth floor of the apartment complex too so if the worse happened, I would've been hella doomed 😆. Probably would've just had a nice long sleep forever. Wouldn't be a bad way to go, I suppose. I was wondering why people were perplexed when I woke up.

I slept during an earthquake once. I woke up in the last 6 six seconds. I was more annoyed about the 48 hour blackout afterwards. 🤣

I slept through a mortar barrage in Nam. Just got in to base from a two week field deployment. I hit the rack and was out cold. They shelled us for about two hours. I never once stirred.
