I stopped for a few days because one of you, Kanbe Namura, came to visit me from the USA. I looked for a hotel for him and I took care of booking the tickets for the visits and I created a program for him to have a nice vacation, which he had planned for a year. Kanbe doesn't speak Italian and needed support and so did I... because I don't have a car, so I involved my friend (who made the figurine of Mary) and I asked him to be our driver and "bodyguard"... (Fun Fact this friend has actually worked in security and as a driver, in the past...) But why "bodyguard"? Because unfortunately the tourist attractions in Italy are full of muggers and pickpockets ( that are not Italian, and they disguise themselves as tourists), we witnessed an arrest, a couple of reports and... I was almost mugged while I was stamping my ticket... but my friend was behind me and alerted the thieves who ran away! In short, could I leave Kanbe alone? I was with him every day, and I also took advantage of experiencing some emotions ahah.
As the whole world knows well, not only is it the year of the Jubilee in Italy but Pope Francis passed away and I was the host and companion/guide for Kanbe Namura right during the conclave! Aaah... something that had not been foreseen when he booked the trip in November 2024.! So, there were some changes to the program because the Sistine Chapel was closed to visitors (despite with tickets) and other complications but luckily I managed to fit everything in.
In short, I worked for the good and good intentions because Kanbe has supported me for many years and I am an honest and sincere person, I don't hide anything, I don't invent anything, I certainly like to maintain my privacy because I am not a celebrity and I want to be appreciated for my work.
I feel guilty for having stopped work for 12 days (when Kanbe left I slept a whole day to recover my strength, guys I'm old XD !!) but let's say that for Kanbe it was a reward from a very big tier, for a Patron who has done so much for me in these years, and I am grateful to him, he deserved this reward. It is right that I not only take but reciprocate when a Patron is so good to me, I believe it is right to reciprocate as one can, the generosity of those who help us in difficult times. I have therefore fulfilled his wish and I am happy about it.

Thank you! I'm glad you're feeling better, I had a breakdown due to pollen during one day, as you saw, but I resisted and fought with all my strength to tame it and still do everything! But I admit that when you left I had to stay in bed for a day because in the end I gave up, I had to rest to recover my strength. Ah middle age! 😅

Sorry for being silent on your post, Vanessa. <.< For those that don't know, I got hit with a MASSIVE cold bug on the day Me, Vanessa, and her friend went to St. Peter's Basilica. @.@ Though.....her friend got it too, and both of us are allergic to pollen.....so I didn't get over the bad parts of it until last Sunday. >.> So that's why I haven't spoken.....this has been the first time I had something this bad in 5 years. @.@ As for the trip: I absolutely loved every moment of it! :DDDDD Even with the small "down" moments of the trip, heck even catching this cold when leaving Italy, I would do this trip all over again. :') Vanessa and her friend were so helpful with talking to me in English and showing me to so many places! :'DD Vanessa, I want to thank you and your friend for everything you both have done for me on this trip once again. :'3 I can't thank you both enough for all the amazing places we visited and the food we ate too! ^o^ (Sorry I can't go into full details on what happened everyone. <.< The three of us saw so much that there wouldn't be enough posts to explain it all. lol ^-^;) I had just as much fun on this trip, as I did last year seeing another amazing artist and his friends in Peru. >w<

I wish you to realize your dream, I realized mine too by going to both America and Japan (once). When you come to Italy I suggest to visit Verona, where operas are still held in the Arena (!) which is similar to the Colosseum...but unlike the Flavian amphitheater, it is intact!

Remember that in Bon Bon nobody knows who you are and nobody asks questions 😉 and it is really peculiar that for me you Patrons are a bit similar (in the sense of protected by privacy) to the visitors of Bon Bon. 🙂
