The six greatest city states are those represented by stars with white stroke around the titles: Norgoth, Keth'keth, Uthul-zargoth (home of the Blood Cult of Azathoth), Nazgar, Iron Keep of Vrogathar, and Aruthaz.

So what is the average temperature in this region if the ocean is icy? It must be "damn cold." -- also this map is stellar. Love it.

"an icy ocean called Evernight." That sounds like water, if it was an ocean of something other than water I believe it would be obligatory to require explanation, given what most humans who speak English think of when we see "ocean". :-)

Yes, it’s water, mostly frozen near the center but thins out further away it gets.
