December is unto us! (Status update, sort of)
🕑 Added 2017-12-03 09:13:19 +0000 UTC December is here. Wow, this one feels like it was one of the shortest years in my life. Or am I just getting old? Anyway, I'm not here to talk about that or that it's snowing outside. I'm writing this to give you some information, on what I planned for MMM and what I think might change in 2018.I keep mentioning that I want to release MMM to the stores before the end of the year and that hasn't changed.
But apart from that I have notsaid much about what exactly I planned. And that is because I have a hard time deciding on many things. What should it cost? Should the price be the same for all platforms? What about VR vs. Non-VR? Just one thing is clear, my Patreon Supporters should (and will) get it for free. 99% of digital stores have some sort of promo-keys, so there should be no problem.
So, I'm kind of making it all up the go. I want the price for the final version to be somewhere around $13… Is that a lot? Is it not enough? If it was a game I'd consider different prices for different stores, but it isn't and I think there aren't many apps that I can look at to give me a feel what's a good price and what to consider.
I will probably start at the stores with a discount as I don't consider the version to be "final". And by final I mean a "v1.0", some things I wanted for that are still missing and I'll mark the software as "Early Access" to show that.
Releasing on stores is a lot of work. Each store has ist own requirements. There will be texts to be written, images to be created, special requirements implemented and probably a lot more. I will also have to whip up a new official website for the MindMendingMachine. (I'll keep the current one, but I'll have to make a product page that I can link to from the stores. One that fits the product I'm relaesing to the store, a VR hypnosis app that features self-help and relaxation sessions. There won't be a mention or implication of anything hypnosis fetish related.)
And as each store will have ist own requirements there is a possibility that MMM won't be available on all the stores before end of the year but it will at least be on some of them.
For 2018 there is a rather rough plan. Complete "v1.0" features and harden the software.
From then on I will work on different things:
- New kinky sessions for my patreon supporters
- Improving MMM, that might be with new features or just updating the UI, improving performance or supporting another control scheme.
- Creating new sessions for the non-kinky public, to be made available via in-app-purchases. (These will not be financed by patreon supporters)
Talking about sessions, for the store release I hope to bundle 4 sessions:
- "Power Nap" (only uses mind synching and a custom visual effect)
- Hypnosis for improved self confidence
- Hypnosis for better sleep
- Hypnosis for improved creativity
All those 4 files aren't ready yet. I'm looking for people to write and/or voice the hypnosis sessions. I currently don't have the neccessary time to do that nor do I have the needed experience to do them in a limited amount of time, yet. I have already reache out to a few people for that and I hope to contact more people in the next few days.
