Technical Test 1.1, big update!

I worked hard to add more features to the technical test and apart from structural improvements I added two major features.
First thing is a system to show text. I am now able to go throw a whole hypnosis script, line by line. I can assign each line how long it will be shown and I can easily add pauses. That also means that any hypnotists who want to collaborate can write up a script which would then be brought into MindMeltingMachine in an rather effortless way.
Second feature is the dynamic binaurals system. I generate the binaurals in real time and can visually define any changes in base tone and beat frequency over time using key frames and curves to edit them.
Version 1.1 demonstrates both new systems in a short session that is just about 5.5 minutes long. I'm looking forward to any and all feedback!

Hello rokkitman and thank you for your feedback! I'm glad you like what this is so far. As you are now a patron I'm also looking forward what you think about the latest version. It doesn't contain text but you might still like it. Make sure to use headphones to maximize the effects of the binaural beats. :)

Just tried this out from the public release, Samsung Note 5 with Gear VR using the Cardboard for Gear VR app. Ran smoothly and looked good. Text displayed great, everything seemed to run flawlessly. On a content note: holy crap I've been looking for something like this for months! It was seriously disappointing that there was almost no hypnosis kink on the initial VR Porn rush, given that it's basically what the entire fetish wants just by its very nature. Then I stumble on a tumblr post with the initial test and really liked the potential there. Saved this version the moment I saw it, but only just got around to trying it out. And I have to say, I've never really gone under before... but this? This was reeeaaally close. My head was fuzzy, my equilibrium was just a little off in the best way, and I had to struggle to keep my eyes open enough to read the text. It felt sooooo good. And I didn't even have my earbuds in. I felt like I needed to give you feedback before I was ever told to. Really looking forward to future developments on this! Keep up the awesome work! ^_^
Good to know that it runs well on your hardware. Loading of text currently isn't a feature. What I described was that I implemented a system to show text dynamically. The text currently shown is bundled with the app. Right now I only implement basics and show them in technical tests. If you don't see any text shown, please tell me, then I got to address that as a bug. About the NFC access, Google Cardboard headsets (mostly those that are actually made out of cardboard) make use of NFC tags and the GoogleVR SDK thereby adds that requirement. I don't actively do anything with NFC. There'll be a post about the current development and planned features some time today.

It runs nicely on my Nexus 5x. I don't see a way to load a text file for it, though, and you did mention ability to display text. Also, why does it need access to NFC? Just a weirdness I found in the permissions.
