Mistake (Chapter 4)

The pain he felt was unimaginable, and he couldn't understand why the inventor of the shrinking device would have made it so that he would endure this horrific torment. Little did he know that the device was made as much for the shrinker, as the shrunken.

The pounding footsteps slowly grew louder and closer as the enormous top of a blonde head of air appeared on the stairs. Clark was looking at the huge creature between the white bars of wood. A stunning face materialized beneath the blonde locks, with dazzling, aquamarine eyes. High cheekbones and cherry red lips completed her face as she ascended from below, and Clark opened his mouth to yell for her attention as her three-story ear came level with the landing.
'HEY! HELP ME !' Clark cried, but he had missed his chance. With one step, the giantess's head shot into the air and just like that, she was out of earshot. Sometimes, Lara wanted to scream, and she felt a pang of loneliness: Amanda always mediated so well. She missed the calming voice of reason that could somehow translate between the brunette and her, who practically spoke different languages. Giving herself time to cool off before her first online lecture, she hopped onto her bed and opened her laptop, lying on her stomach and curving her back upwards.
