(BUS)Chapter 141: Weight and meeting

Commander Typhon turned out to be this big ass defender that annoyingly hid behind his metal shield while taking shots at us. I used my phase trance powers to summon one of my Jabber minions that proceeded to go apeshit on the fucker. None of us moved to help the little monster beat the heavily armored bitch to death and even stopped to watch as I pulled out snacks.-
"Absolute cinema! Really should do this more often." I said with a grin after giving the summoned minion a thumbs up and letting it fade to nothing.
"I still think that power is kinda messed up." Mordy said with a shake of his head.
"I mean maybe a little but just think, one day I might be able to use it on a vault monster. Can you even imagine unleashing a beast like that on your enemies? I get chills just thinking about it." I said with a grin.
"Don't you lose the things after you use them though?" Lil asked with a confused expression.
"For now. I'm still working on that but I have a few ideas about how to achieve it. Like maybe I could add traits to my minions to let them stick around for as long as I want. It's also entirely possible I just need more practice with the things to figure it out. Even you haven't mastered your powers fully yet after all." I said and she nodded in agreement.
Yes despite knowing the route she should be attempting with her powers Lil hadn't yet managed teleportation yet but she could summon fire reliably so that was something. In my case phase trance was not as straight forward as either my phase evolve or phase lock powers and likely held hidden uses I have to figure out. Still after devouring all the lifeforce from the lance I couldn't help but marvel at the sheer volume of energy I held at my finger tips. I was back up to over a million units of lifeforce which was close to half the amount I needed to copy Lil's siren trait. Well it would be if it weren't for the fact I still needed to improve my body some more first or I might literally explode if I tried to grab it.-
It was strange but I could FEEL my existence being heavier than everyone elses in the universe. I didn't mean in terms of mass but like on a cosmological scale my density was greater than the normal people around me. I suppose it made sense as I did have three different siren powers and even the aspect of the universe I got from the destroyer as well as my elemental traits fusing together. That was at least six aspects of the universe(partial or otherwise) that were crammed tightly into me.-
Maybe this is what gods were? Just beings so cosmologically dense that they were higher existences than everything else even remotely similar? I wasn't sure but my instincts told me I was on the right track. Whatever the case once I had Lil's powers as well I would likely have my answer. At that point I would hold four of the seven siren powers in the universe. The three I already had showed signs of wanting to fuse. But into what? The traits were already labeled mythical grade so the only thing I could think of higher than myth was divine.-
I didn't believe for a second that the grade wouldn't upgrade either. It would be laughable considering I have yet to see a single fusion of more than three different traits that didn't jump grades at least once. Anyways with Typhon deader than dead we headed for the place marked with the hint of where we might find that access code. As it turned out it was just a recording of two lancemen talking and being idiots. One was singing about icecream of all things, rocky road specifically. That one took a legit day off to eat icecream and visit the worlds largest bullet where he left the access code, like a dumbass.-
We mounted up on the monsters after gathering our loot in my house and went to pass through the tunnel to the area with said bullet only for Knoxx to contact us again.
"Hey, it's me again. I got a birthday card from the admiral. It's got a dragon on it and says "To my special friend on his birthday, flame on!" And the dragon is lighting the candles on the birthday cake with his fire breath. Haa~ That doesn't even make sense to me. It's like mowing your lawn with a nuclear weapon. It's not even my birthday. I need to kill you so I can leave. Maybe just kill yourself and save me the trouble, mates?" he said without humor.
"Damn, having to take orders from a child has to suck. If only you knew someone who actually wanted to fix the company? Oh wait that's me and you need to die for that to happen. No hard feelings mate. Hell I'll even get you a nice headstone on Promethea if you want that'll say "A tired old man who earned his rest." How's that sound?" I sent back not expecting a response only to be surprised when I got one.
"Lets shelve the whole killing me part of that for now. You ACTUALLY want to fix Atlas? You do know how bad things are right?" he sent sounding confused.
"Incompetence, nepotism, embezzling and all around corruption of those in charge save yourself. Yeah I have a pretty good idea. honestly I wouldn't even bother telling you my plan normally but you of all people actually fucking deserve it, might even make you rest easy after you die. Honestly I plan on tearing Atlas down to it's roots and rebuilding it in my image. Fixing the planets the company has fucked up and all around creating a better company in general." I sent seriously.
There was a pause as the good general seemed to consider my words.
"I want to meet. No guns, no guards, no tricks, neutral ground. I want to see the face of the person who had the balls to go and give me hope." he sent firmly.
"Give me a tic." I sent before flipping frequencies to Moxxi. "You think your bar can serve as a neutral location in a very likely highly sensitive political meeting?" I asked seriously.
"Are you joking? If you are it's not funny." she replied almost immediately.
"No joke here. Need a spot for a neutral ground and only your bar qualifies." I said honestly.
"I'll need to clean up a bit but I can host if need be. Are you sure about this though sugar? The number one cause of death for leaders on Pandora is assassination for a reason." she said seriously.
"Yeah it'll be fine. Thanks a ton." I sent before swapping back to Knoxx's frequency. "You know of Moxxi's red light? We'll meet there, not guns, no guards, no tricks. Anyone who tries anything while we are talking will be stopped by me personally. I swear it." I sent seriously.
