Bar Name and Location
Happy A Go-Go is located at the end of Soi Happy, just off Walking Street. This bar holds historical significance as the very first go-go bar in Pattaya, established back in 1995, and remains one of the most recognized names in the scene. After its 2019 merger with Beach Club, it became the largest single-floor go-go bar in Pattaya.
2. Description
Happy A Go-Go offers a spacious layout with multiple stages, mirrored walls, and neon lighting throughout. The atmosphere is typically relaxed and low-pressure, with dancers rotating frequently and minimal pushiness for lady drinks. You can sit back and enjoy the show without the intensity found in some other venues.
However, a few notable aspects set this bar apart:
The oldest operating go-go on Walking Street, with 25+ years of history.
The venue has a controversial reputation regarding selective entry policies. There have been multiple reports of racial discrimination at the entrance, with signs at times stating "whites only" to deter Indian, Arab, or darker-skinned guests—even some Russians with tans or beards have reported being denied entry.
Inside, Asian customers are generally prioritized, and Westerners may notice a lack of attention unless they fit a preferred profile or visit during quiet seasons. On the flip side, this can lead to a more peaceful, unpressured visit.
The 2019 merger with Beach Club expanded the venue significantly, making it the largest go-go by floor size in the city.
