Stella and her cellmates
🕑 Added 2024-09-30 17:06:11 +0000 UTCLiving in the wrong side of the law is risky, but Stella never cared much about this. Being a nomad since she could walk, the draconian learned to make the best out of bad situations, quickly developing the wits and the guts to carve her way through a expanding market in the gallactic underworld: bounty hunting.
To the contrary of what many expect, bounty hunting involves in taking their targets alive, since many of the poor devils are fleeing of debts - which they can't pay if dead and cold. Stella's job was kindly escorting criminals to the designated prison-mine to honor their debts.
But the tables have been turned in a few years of bad investments, bad gambling and bad luck. One day, her head had a bounty and once cornered, she couldn't do much unless being escorted to a prison-mine as well.
And who she meets after being taken to her cell? The brothers Red and Blue Krallson, bandits who invested in the same cryptomarket Stella did, but a few months ago. She threw them into that forgotten asteroid where they would mine for a few years before being released, now they were their cellmates.
At least Red and Blue where draconians like herself. Maybe she could recruit them to her plans of escaping... No way in hell she would sit her ass in that rock with a whole galaxy waiting to be explored.
In a few months, she started to get fond of the prison life. Maybe she could delay her plans just a bit...
