Honestly, I had endless options for changes that could benefit me, but I was a fan of High School DxD and a true fan, so I only needed one small detail to change in this world.
"Okay. Then I wish to replace Issei Hyoudou as the bearer of Boosted Gear."

Suddenly, a wave of heat ran through my body, warming my chest and causing my vision to blur for a moment. I almost fell to my knees due to the mixture of horrible sensations.
When the intense heat that filled my body finally subsided, I could feel something pulsing in my left hand. The Boosted Gear, the legendary item that sealed the Welsh Dragon, was now a part of me.
"This... this is incredible," I muttered, still a little dazed by the events of the last five minutes.
Lifting my head, I looked back at Kuoh Academy. The magic portal in front of me was inviting me to step through with nothing to hold me back.
Was I ready for this? It didn't matter. I had to be because I had always wanted something like this to happen. I took a deep breath, preparing myself for what was to come.
"I can't disappoint anyone. I don't know much about this system yet, but I'm going to make this my second chance. I'm going to get my family out of debt and... I want a wife! Maybe TWO!"
However, crossing the portal was not even close to what I had imagined. My right foot was about to touch the mountain grass when, suddenly, everything spun. I felt my body disintegrate and reassemble as I traveled through tunnels of light that seemed endless. When I finally regained my senses, I was on my knees in an alley.
I stood up and, as a reflex, shook the dust off my pants. That's when I realized I was wearing different clothes than I had in the other world. My pants were black, my shoes were white, and I was wearing a black blazer over a white shirt.
"That's a Japanese men's uniform... Wait, am I younger in this universe?"
I looked around, trying to get my bearings in this new environment that was now my world. I could still feel the pulsing energy of the Boosted Gear in my left hand. It was natural for me to ignore it until it finally stopped burning, so that's what I did.
As I approached the alley exit, I heard a familiar voice.
"Did you see those boobs? Man, I wish I could touch those boobs!" someone exclaimed enthusiastically.
A boy who looked like a young monk raised his right hand like a hero. "One day! My friends! One day we will date them."
"Uh-huh! And our girlfriends will have huge boobs!" The last of the trio, a boy with glasses, agreed, nodding.
I recognized them almost immediately, not only by their appearance, but also by the subject of their conversation. They were Issei, Motohoma, and Matsuda, respectively.
Seeing them made me think about the changes I had made in this world. Without Boosted Gear, Issei Hyoudou's fate would have changed drastically, and he would have been completely excluded from this story. As a person, I wasn't sure how I felt about it, but as a fan, it was great! After all, who hasn't wanted to be in Issei's shoes?
In any case, I needed to handle this situation carefully.
If I had become the wearer of Boosted Gear in Issei's place, it meant that I had taken his place in the entire story, which would certainly include the dangers of this world.
Since Issei was still talking so casually about breasts with his friends outdoors, it could only mean that this was the beginning of the story, and therefore there were Fallen Angels nearby.
I waited for Issei and his friends to disappear from my field of vision before moving forward and entering Kuoh Academy. I didn't want to see them again.
In the academy courtyard, there were many more female students than male students. This was not surprising, as Kuoh Academy used to be a place where only girls studied.
Some of the girls were laughing and talking excitedly, others were running to their classrooms with books pressed against their chests.
'This school environment…' I thought, barely containing my expression of satisfaction. 'It's everything I asked God for! Definitely much better than that military atmosphere at the Wushia Compulsory Education Academy!'
My first step inside the academy was met with several stares from the students.
Why was everyone looking at me? Was it because I was dirty?
Confused, I looked down, checking to see if I had removed all the dust from my uniform.
At that time, I just didn't know that people were looking at me because I was different from the usual students at that school. I wasn't very tall in my world, but for high school, five foot nine was definitely not insignificant, especially in Japan.

"I recognized you because your file popped up on the school system a few minutes ago. You are enrolled as a third-year student at our school," she said, handing me a document with the official Kuoh Academy seal. On this document was my classroom number.
My eyebrows rose slightly in surprise. I didn't expect the transition between worlds to work so well. The <Fissure> ability seemed to do much more than just create a passage to another world. It literally included me in the chosen world.
"Thank you for letting me know," I said, taking the paper with the room number in my hand and leaving.
As I walked through the wooden-floored corridors of Kuoh Academy, I began to wander in my thoughts.
'I'm a little older than Issei was at the beginning of the story. Of course, I guess that's all the system could do, because with my current appearance, I could never pass for a fifteen-year-old.'

I didn't see anyone shouting in the hallways or anything like that. At one point, I felt both bored and relieved at the same time. I would have time to adapt to this new world.
With so much time to think during class, it was impossible not to notice that the warm sensation in my hand wasn't going away. Sure, I knew this indescribable heat was because I was now sharing my body with the Welsh Dragon, and I was eager to test my new abilities.
At the end of the day, when the sky had turned orange, I left Kuoh Academy and headed for a large park nearby. It wasn't Kuoh's main park, but it was still big.
At that time, there were many children playing and having fun. However, I ignored them completely and went to the most secluded area of the park. Since I didn't know the city, it took me a few minutes to find a spot that seemed safe enough.
When I felt isolated enough so that no one could hear me, I raised my left hand, looked at it, and said:
