Power of Will .066b Rival's Sister DONE - 9/5/24
🕑 Added 2024-08-02 09:08:06 +0000 UTCThis update features more of the remaining branches between the wife and chief of staff, though there are still a couple of niche routes that still need to get wrapped up. In addition, this release should fix the missing clips for the wife through all of the various scenes here.
EDIT (.063a): The remaining Wife/Chief of Staff combinations are now completely done. In addition, the rival's mom has the intro to her evening event up (applies for all variations of her, though it'll appear separately from her repeating scene if she's already a maid/etc.). Please note that the scene doesn't progress past the intro for her right now, but the various scenes will be out with the next update. And then as mentioned before, after this is done the next scene will be more of the rival's sister and a new suitor for her (which you'll be able to deal with in a number of ways).
EDIT (.064a): The Rival's Mom has the first part of her scene up, which includes support for both the lover and meaner routes. ONLY THE ROUTE WHERE SHE GIVES THE MC A MASSAGE IS FINISHED. The route to give her a massage has a couple of start points but most of the branches are blank until I've finished it.
EDIT (.064b): The routes where you give the Rival's Mom a massage have been finished, so the only thing left is a particularly mean branch if she was sent to jail. Other than that, I also need to finish upgrading her pregnancy content for those interested in that. Once that stuff is taken care of, content should start popping up for the Rival's Sister (and a new character/story arc for her).
EDIT (.065a): The Rival's Mom's final scene (a mean one if she's still in prison) is now finished. There's a sneak peak of the upcoming suitor for the Rival's Sister arc, which should start popping up tomorrow. After that, we're going to be getting the option to pass some important new laws for the country, including outfit changes and more marriage opportunities.
EDIT (.066a): The Rival's Sister and Suitor introduction now have the first part done (takes place in the evening), which includes dealing with the Suitor in a number of ways and potentially getting romantically closer to the sister or getting a bit crueler towards her. Either way, the suitor can also be kidnapped for experimentation later.
EDIT (.066b): The Rival's Suitor genderbending experiment is now complete. Note that I forgot to change the version number in-game so it still says .066b but all of the experimentation route should now be finished. Up next will be more legislation to pass, specifically for expanding marriages.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1) If you need a clean install, download the .058e ALL FILES pack from the above link.
Step 2) Unzip the all files pack to create your Power of Will folder. From now on, you'll extract future updates and place them in this same folder, overwriting the previous content to update it.
Step 3) If necessary, download an update only pack like the one in this post.
Step 4) Unzip the update only pack and copy the contents of it.
Step 5) Paste these contents in your original 'all files' folder. Your computer will ask if you want to overwrite the existing HTML file. Click yes.
Step 6) If you did everything right, you should have an HTML file that you click to run the game and a fan-made Images folder that has folders from '010' to '074'. If you find an 'Images' folder inside your 'Images' folder, that means you pasted it incorrectly and need to re-copy and paste stuff.
Step 7) When you run the game, the images and text should display as normal. If they don't, send me a message and we can try to figure this out further.

The rival's sister and suitor stuff will be out later today, I know it's been a long wait but hopefully it will be a fun one before I dig into legislation stuff for the player to start thinking about expanding their marriage. O.O Also, for anyone that prefers to wait for public releases, the next one should be out on September 7th before I switch back over to working on College Daze.
