Nothing to do with the video (sort of), but I should have seen this coming given that you live in Canada. I also recently joined The Dapper Dinosaur's Patreon and he had the same intuition as to pronouncing my handle. Coincidently, it's not related to the French word "J'accuse". I pronounce it as /`zi:ku:s/. That's to say it's the American name for 'z' followed by an unvoiced "goose", so "coose".
