Yeah I almost didn't get into Kaguya in the first episode until someone said it gets better and less super weird pacing wise and I did and it's honestly in my top 3 Romcom for sure. And yes Kaguya and Oshi no ko were made by the same author. And the time line is that in Kaguya we are probably 7 or so years after Ai's death cause it's 2017 or something in Kaguya when it was made, and I think Oshi no ko the twins went to school in 2020 or 2021 I believe. Not exactly sure but Kaguya and Shirogane were like 10 or 12 when The twins were born. Fun fact, the Author Akasaka-Sensei, has started another manga that is also set in the same universe with them as well. Pretty awesome world building he's doing.

Wait they're both in the same universe? No way a cameo would go crazy! I like this anime so much so far this was a very damn good introduction episode if I do say so myself.

I will say man, this is probably in my top 3 romcom anime of all time and I am glad you are watching it. Season 3 is just one of the best seasons for characters alone. Not to mention the movie that finally got publicly released last month was also peak as well. I can't wait for season 4 but in the mean time I am actually reading the manga for Kaguya before reading Oshi no Ko since they both are in the same universe so I am looking forward to it.
