I'll check on it, the code on this area were changed since I need to implement an alternative way to skip dialogue on mobile. By finish, do you mean the white screen cum effect?

When you click through the dialogue, there is now also a noticeable pause when the Protag finishes. It was already there before the hotfix. Before the update, it was like you could click through the dialogue and everything would speed up to match.
