(spike spiegel voice) Denver loves the kind of man who bosses him around
Also I am maybe naming this after a PUP song but please don't tell Stefan Babcock his music is somehow tied to gay porn
(it IS a very good song but not related much to the comic, except that when I heard it, I couldn't believe PUP did a song with a guitar line so reminiscent of the post-punk revival sound I love so much and that's the kind of sound I imagine Tennyson having!!)

Amélie
Oooh some band name lore 👀🙌🏻 I didn’t really know him before, but I just read the book In Memoriam by Alice Winn about two men in love during WWI and one of them is a big fan of Tennyson (hence also the name of the book) so I had a flash when you mentioned it in the description of this page!

IT ABSOLUTELY IS!! Originally, in early drafts, the band's name was Byron is Dead, which is what Tennyson carved into a rock in his grief when he heard Lord Byron had passed. So emo, so good, but not quite right for the boys. So instead I named it for Tennyson himself, bahaha! (Although, the in-universe reason for the band's name, at least at this point in my script drafting, is Denver lives on Tennyson Street!)

Denver liking to be bossed around and Daniel liking to do the bossing around is the exact reversal of expectations I live for. Also, agree Denver, Daniel's face is too die for
Amélie
This is totally unrelated to the page but is their band name’s related to the poet Alfred Tennyson by any chance? Everyone else’s pointed out the best of this page, but aaah I just love that manga style you are going for and the paneling you did here!

Endo that was legitimately my favorite thing to draw and I am so happy someone other than me even noticed it

The way Denver's hair flops forward when Daniel shoves him down is SO important to me personally,

Denver? Liking being bossed around?? Never could’ve guessed that a good boy like him would set himself up to be obedient ✨
