It's here!! My favorite panel of the series!! I already talked about it on Twitter (I'm still refusing to call that place X, fuck Elon Musk) because I was lucky enough to have it go viral over there! But this panel is a year in the making. It was one of the few scenes I could picture in my head at the very first outline stage.
This was my bit to my outline editor, Frankee, from late 2022!
My thumbnail from the scripting stage...
...and my editor, Mark's comment on it when it came out. (Note the time stamp, hahaha!! July!!)
Anyway, Denver's street is based on a real one in Bridgeport, although I've taken some liberties with how much of Chicago's skyline is viewable. I've got a few people over on the bird site really amped that this is set in Chicago, which has only put the pressure on for me to not Fuck It Up!!

LMAOOOO I was just emailing Comic Book Yeti about this, YES!! but I'm trying to keep it like... Chicago-suggestive, like erotica is to XXX porn... except, about Chicago, so that I do not disappoint true Chicagoans and also so people don't yell at me when I don't draw Washington and Wabash perfectly accurate π
