sneaking this in here before August is all the way over!! I really want to try to get at least one page of this done a month, and I'm pretty amped I'm able to get this out for you all despite how absolutely rough these past two months have been.
you know the chorus from We Are Scientists' "Nobody Move, Nobody Gets Hurt"?
My body is your body
I won't tell anybody
If you want to use my body
Go for it, yeah
Go for it, yeah
I feel like that sums up both Daniel's approach to sex and Denver's approach to sex but the emotional place those feelings come from are so vastly different from each other (Daniel's comes from "I want to feel used" and Denver's is "I want to please you") chef's kiss the good shit.
also wait!! this is another song with post-punk revival guitars, just like I was talking about in the last page's blog. I'M SMELLING A THEME
(Edit: I posted this at a bizarre time this morning, thinking it'd be fine with Patreon's notification system showing it to folks eventually, but I am hearing at least one person didn't get a notif for it so I'm pushing this edit out, sorry if you're getting it twice!!)

Daniel is truly the most spoiled π And ahh I was just listening to OK Go the other day because of a rec from another pal..! And I used to love Hot Hot Heat and The Vines' "Ride", ahh you and I would've been good music buddies back then!!

Daniel gets what he wants βΊοΈπ I didnβt know the song so I give it a try and it was good! My Spotify just played related songs afterward and it brought me right back to the 2000s with OK Go, Hot Hot Heat and The Vines so thanks for the time travel!
