It's been three seasons since Shibata graced our screens and I was not expecting him in this episode, but here he is!! Shibata returns, and he's pulling not only Natsume, but also Tanuma, into yokai-searching shenanigans!

Grumpy Natsume! Yes! Natsume is so expressive in this episode with Shibata and it’s fun to see his “feathers ruffled” for once! And TANUMA! He is so mature in this episode and I love it for him to actually get to be “needed,” which is what he’s always wanted from Natsume! <3 And Natsume getting the NORMALCY of the push back - yes, it’s good for him! Thank you! I’m 80% done with redecorating, which is great! Thank you also for the kind words and comment - ooohhhh, I’m so excited for a double feature this coming week! 😀

Loved the reaction and discussion! Grumpy Natsume Galore! 😂 Various things I loved: Natsume’s facial expressions – he is often very placid and when he DOES get miffed he gets so expressive, it’s really nice to see. Ta-nu-ma! Ta-nu-ma! – he was the one they clung to and the one walking up front! 🥰 “Wingman!Madara” and all the Natsume’s Book of Boyfriends commentary throughout 🤣 Agree with everything in the discussion around how good it is to see Natsume push back against someone. It is good practise for him. Good luck with your redecorating project! Looking forward to next week! 💙
