Yessssss, I was like "NEW SHIP ALERT!" I really loved this episode as one of my favorites so far - the enemies-to-lovers potentialllll! I really loved ALL the development with Natori -- it made me feel for his character even more -- and feel the development he's had in this. And Matoba! We got a lot more fleshed out with him -- it almost makes me wish Natsume could see what we had seen, since he had to "deal with him" now, but getting this flashback after seeing Natori "vs." Matoba, it felt so needed and it has me excited with what we'll see from them in the future! MY SHIP OMG ♥️♥️♥️ it only took five seasons but we've FINALLY gotten to it!! I was waiting for your reaction to this episode! Apart from my love for Natori/Matoba as a pairing, and the exploration of their history together, it's also really fascinating to get such a deep insight into Natori this episode. Matoba too, gets more fleshed out and three dimensional, as we get a slight different perspective of him through Natori's eyes, from before he became head of the Matoba Clan.
