Honestly it's one of the better remedies I've made for colds and flu. You can make a big old pan of it too and just reheat what you need or keep it in a thermos. Obviously just adjust the recipe a little for a larger amount. Just don't go overly mad on the thyme though, a few stalks will do a decent size mug and use the ginger sparingly. The elderberry extract/cordial gives it a nice fruity tang though. 😊

Nice to hear you're getting better! 😄 The lurgy going around right now is relentless! 😕 I have family witchy tea remedy for coughs and colds; boil up a few stalks of fresh thyme, and if you can get it, chuck in some elderberry extract/cordial. Add honey and lemon to taste, you can even add a bit of ginger too. I find this works well for stubborn coughs and colds, it's naturally antiseptic and anti inflammatory. 😊
