Yes yes. It’s so easy to get lost in your partners problems and not so ideal decisions because you feel as if they are an extension of yourself. In the end, they are their own person and you cannot control their narrative . Life is so much better when you focus on your own growth and love yourself.

Growing up in a broken home, I always told myself that I could never get into a relationship, until I loved myself. Like I want to have more love for myself than love for my partner. Or share my love but never empty my cup for them. if that makes sense.
