i literally remember being exactly like this when i was in high school, sometimes hiding from people and not going out because i was super insecure, not because of what people said to me but because of the acne i used to have like it wasnt a normal thing at that age. luckily im good now and dont feel insecure but i do see so many people hiding themselves just like this in the school im a student teacher for and even in my family like my own little brother and it really does pain me to see :(
