As of May (and for the foreseeable future), I'll be removing the Brighter excerpt reward. Those who pledge the Nevermore tier for this perk, don't feel bad if you want/need to change your pledge.
I've been struggling to write for a while now (creative endeavors have ups and downs 🙃) and being aimless and having no plan isn't helping. I keep changing my mind about what direction I want to go in to wrap up this last chapter (with diverging or not), and with the option of maybe putting it on hiatus until V8 to see if I can stick with canon all the way through.
For now, I just need to take a break of writing for a couple weeks, so I can replenish the inspiration and fire.

Such a belated reply, but I just wanted to say thank you for the amazing writing you've given us. I know the feeling of being creatively sapped for a good period of time, and whether it comes back or not, I'll always cherish Brighter/Extras <3

Fine by me. I'd much rather read what you want to write rather than something you felt pressured to get out the door. What you write, when you write it, is what I want. No hurry!
