So I am starting to look at the new cheating story idea today and planning it out. Or at least starting to. I'm looking forward to this. More updates to come!
I've also been looking at my old stories. I have one that I started about seven or eight years ago that I haven't gotten back to, so I thought I would share what I have of it. This is a WIP and I WILL be returning to this story at some point - so if you don't want spoilers of a future story, DON'T READ IT!
For everyone who does, it is just a little bit of the story (what I have so far) and I hope you enjoy it.

Turn On The Night

The soft sound of a winter’s rain gently falling in a steady drizzle onto the sidewalks, roads, and buildings of the great city of Shorehaven, soaking into the grass and filling the cool December night time with that scent that only comes with the freshness of a clean rainfall, and the relaxing ambience that arises from the sound of raindrops falling amongst tree leaves mixed with the occasional car driving down a wet street, or feet running through puddles to avoid the weather.
The night-shrouded city shone as always, with its neon lights, or street lamps, mixing with the beams of headlights and the gentle floods of warmth that shone through uncovered windows onto the wet streets outside, and life buzzed within the City of Taboo Dreams; for within Shorehaven, the thrill of life and lust never truly stopped. Even when winter grasped her in its chilling hands, the sprawling gem never once lost its lustre…and this night, as the rain poured steadily from the dark clouds above, would be no different.
Despite the coolness and the lateness of the month, as the festive day of Christmas approached there was no sign of snow, only cooler than usual days and more rain than normal. Gone, for now, were the stunning days of sun and warm stirring winds, replaced by a steady, cool, touch of a breeze that wounds its way almost imperceptibly through the falling rain. No, tonight the only heat within Shorehaven was artificial…or that created by the illicit adventures of the grand metropolis’ inhabitants. That heat was only to grow as the night wore on and the rain continued to fall, as within the quiet suburban district of Havendale, a taxi wound its way through the almost empty streets towards a house that was filled with light and life, a house that already had a taxi outside from which two women and one man quickly ran after paying the fair to the shelter of the house’s open door, joining several others already inside.
It was within the warmth of the main upstairs bedroom of that house that Nicole Molyneux stood at the end of the large king-size bed as she fastened the last of the buttons on the front of her dress, before reaching down to pick up her favourite perfume. Spraying each wrist and the top of her chest, Nicole tossed the bottle back onto the bed as she turned once more to sit on its edge and, crossing her long, slender legs, held one hand in front of her so that she could begin to paint her nails, smiling to herself as she listened to the laughter and conversation downstairs as her fiancé, Harley, opened the door for another group of their friends.
The laughter and conversation quickly grew more animated, competing with the lively music, as the new arrivals joined the rest of the people already gathering in the lounge and kitchen. One voice in particular made Nicole’s smile deepen as she expertly guided the small brush over each of her nails covering them in a soft blue that matched her dress; the melodious voice of Miss Savannah Hope.
Savannah was one of Nicole’s best friends – one of the group of girls, and the one gay guy, that made up her ‘club’ of closest friends. She was one of those people that was fun, honest, and incredibly caring that come along once in a lifetime; not to mention that she was drop dead gorgeous, although Savannah never gave any indication that she was even aware of it.
“Cassie!” Nicole heard her friend cry out happily as she switched to painting the nails on her left hand.
“Why hello baby girl, don’t you look fabulous!?” Nicole’s other friend replied with complimentarily in a voice that would likely have drawn every male eye to her downstairs.
“You too baby! Wow, where did you get those shoes?” Savannahreplied emphatically and Nicole found herself smiling in excitement at not only seeing all of her friends in one place, but also for the night ahead.
Before Nicole had finished her left hand, however, a loud knock that was obviously trying to be heard over the music and laughter came at the door. This time the conversation downstairs didn’t alter, and before Nicole could wonder about it Harley called up the stairs.
“Nikki, pizza’s here!” Nicole’s loving boyfriend shouted up, followed swiftly by someone downstairs cheering for the food.
“Thanks baby, I’ll be there soon.” She called back as she delicately replaced the brush into the nail polish bottle and screwed the top closed, arcing her fingers out so that she didn’t ruin the finish.
“Better hurry up, these vultures look ready to pounce on me down here!” Harley called back and Nicole laughed despite herself; more so when Georgio, the gay guy that had no doubt turned up with Cassie as he always did, asked who Harley was calling a vulture in that camp yet sophisticated voice of his – Nicole had visions of him standing with his hands on his hips and one leg bent…he was such a diva.
“Make sure you save me a piece!” Nicole shouted back as she deftly stood up and walked over to her dresser to place the nail polish with the others, before gently wafting her hands to dry her nails a little quicker.
Fortunately the blue polish was quick-drying and so it didn’t take long before the beautiful fiancée was tossing the various items she had thrown onto the bed back into her ‘make up’ box before she walked over to the full-length mirror on the back of the door opposite the large bed.
Checking herself over in the mirror to make sure everything was just right, Nicole Molyneux smiled contentedly as she adjusted a few locks of luscious blonde hair that fell in gentle waves down her back and shoulders, almost to the bottom of her shoulder blades. Her large blue-grey eyes, that often seemed to lean more to one colour than the other depending on her mood, matched the colour of her nails right then and seemed to shine with the excitement of the night ahead that only made her beautiful face seem even more radiant than normal.
That radiance was intensified by the simple, yet stunning dress that she had bought especially for tonight. The dress itself was a beautiful sky-blue, with white buttons that marched down the front, and despite the weather outside is was a thin satin-type fabric in the style of a sixties or seventies summer dress, with two one-inch thin straps over her slender shoulders. The hem of the dress stopped well above her mid-thigh and the neckline displayed a mouth-watering amount of her ample 36DD cleavage that was only emphasized by the way that the slightly loose dress formed around the luscious swelling of her impressive breasts and lay gently against her flat stomach and tight ass, and highlighted her slim waist. While Nicole was a couple of inches taller than average, the matching blue and white heels that she had bought with the dress made her seem even taller, and seemed to show off her soft, bare legs as much as the shortness of the dress did; still, Nicole thought that they were gorgeous – as had Savannah and Georgio when she bought them – and they looked perfect with her outfit. Beneath her short dress Nicole had chosen to wear a matching set of light, pastel blue lace underwear and bra – a set that had set Harley’s heart racing, amongst other things, when she had modelled it for him the other day.
The memory of that day set the beautiful blonde’s cheeks afire for a moment, and her heart began to pace like a race horse. Placing her hand on her chest to feel the speedy beating, Nicole’s smile deepened as her eyes fell on the reason for the whole outfit and the whole night. Encircling her third finger was the most beautiful diamond and sapphire white gold engagement ring that matched the earrings that she was wearing. Staring at the delicate, sparkling band, Nicole felt a flood of warmth and love fill her as she remembered Harley walking into her work just a week ago with the biggest bunch of flowers in the world and proposing to her in front of everyone after four years of being together. She had been blown away and left speechless, until finally with tears in her eyes she had wrapped her arms around him and finally managed to speak her ‘yes’.
That romantic moment was why she was standing dressed up in front of the mirror right then, as everyone she had told had immediately wanted to celebrate her engagement. And so, she and Harley had decided – with a little prodding from Savannah – that they would have a small party at their house before heading out on a celebration night to one of the clubs in Downtown.
Sighing happily, Nicole smiled contentedly before Harley’s voice suddenly woke her out of her pleasant thoughts.
“Babe, better be quick, Georgio’s almost like a trash can…” He called up with vast amusement that turned into a deep laugh as Georgio began to protest camply.
“I’m coming!” Nicole shouted back amusedly as she glanced lovingly at her ring once more before turning to her dresser and quickly applying her soft-pink lipstick.
With that done, the gorgeous blonde fiancée took one more look at herself in the mirror.
“Perfect” She said finally as she smoothed her soft dress over her slender hips, before opening the bedroom door and walking towards the stairs.
“Nikki…” Savannah began to call as she came laughing out of the lounge, however her words stopped short as she looked up to see Nicole walking down the stairs. “…Damn girl, you look hot!”
“Not just me by the looks of it” Nicole replied with a smile as she looked over her light-brunette friend in her tight red dress, before asking with a conspiratorial smirk. “Planning on not going home tonight?”
The expression that Savannah gave her was only made more lewd by the wink and low-throated giggle that the shorter woman gave as she placed her hands on her slender hips. Nicole couldn’t help but laugh herself at that before a noise from the lounge made the beautiful blonde lean forward a little so that she could peak around the doorframe.
“Damn Nikki, are you trying to give me an eyeful” Savannah laughed and it was only when Nicole glanced at her and her friend nodded towards her dress that Nicole realized what Savannahmust have meant.
“You just wanted a better look” Nicole jested as she straightened and looked down at the neckline of her dress.
“Maybe” Savannah replied lightly with yet another wink, and Nicole laughed softly again as she straightened her dress’ neckline once more. “Though I’d be careful who you bend over in front of, or someone will be getting a good view…” She continued, and then with a glance at the length of the dress’ hem, added, “…from either end.”
That made Nicole look down at her dress and tug gently on the hem a little before she looked up at her friend.
“Thanks for the warning” She said finally as she forced herself to let go of the bottom of her dress. “I’ll have to remember to drop something in front of Harley now”
That made Savannah laugh softly, however before the shorter woman could reply that odd noise came from the lounge again and Nicole looked towards the door curiously; though this time she remembered not to lean forward so much.
“What is that?” She asked sounding confused and taking a step towards the lounge.
“What…oh that, that’s what I was coming out to tell you about” Her friend answered with a very amused smirk. “Harley said something about that Kinect of his, being the champion or something, and Cassie, well, let’s just say that she laughed her ass off and Harley took it as a challenge.”
Nicole gave a puzzled frown and a small sly smile, and Savannahnodded. Cassie and Harley got on well, though there was always some kind of competition going on between the two – especially for Nicole’s attention. It seemed to Nicole, at least after Savannahhad pointed it out, that they were friendly yet somewhat jealous of the other one’s attention from her! Nicole had never understood it, but true enough, one could barely say anything without the other trying to get the upper hand – it was like Harley was five and Cassie was a boy.
“Let me guess, the tennis game?” She asked as she placed her hands on her slender hips and Savannah nodded and eyed her questioningly. “It’s nothing, Harley’s just been going on about it all week, and showing off in front of his friends with how good he is at it.”
Nodding at that, Savannah shook her head at their competitiveness.
“He does know that Cassie was college champion, right?” The shorter woman asked, and before Nicole could reply Harley’s voice came from the other room.
“Ah shit, that was so cheating!” Nicole heard her fiancé of just one week exclaim before another male voice – one of his friends that he had beaten it seems – made some jibe about his showing off.
“I guess he does now.” Nicole answered with a small, loving smirk, finding it amusing that Harley’s big head had been burst. The sound of Cassie’s triumph was not subtle. “I guess we should get in there before they decide to wrestle for it.”
That image made both her and Savannah giggle, though not as much as the scene when she walked into the lounge and saw Harley – Nicole’s dark-haired, angular-faced, tall, well-built, and attractive fiancé – pouting in a pose that was very reminiscent of the stance that Georgio was holding as he sipped his orange drink through a pink straw. Cassie, on the other hand, simply stood with her arms folded beneath her breasts, smiling a very smug, and arrogant, smirk.
“What was that flailing? Were you trying to hit the ball or copying Georgio whenever he sees a spider?” The very tall, model-like woman asked as the smirk on her face deepened.
“I do not!” Georgio protested, and then changed his mind from a warm, amused smile from Cassie. “Ok, so maybe I do. But they’re so…hairy!”
Cassie’s smile became deviously teasing at that as she turned to look once more at Harley, and Nicole knew that her friend was going to make some comment mixing the two, and so before the taller woman could do more than part her lips, Nicole spoke instead.
“You two acting like kids again?” She asked amusedly as she and Savannahboth stood with their arms folded and looked between the two. Though before either could speak, Nicole continued – first looking at one and then the other.
“Harley, you shouldn’t brag so much and then you wouldn’t get your very sexy ass handed to you by someone you least expect…” She began, and as Harley’s mouth began to work Cassie’s smirk grew more smug…at least until Nicole turned to her next. “…and Cassie, just because you spent almost as much time training at college as you did being ‘The Ball Girl’, doesn’t mean that Harley couldn’t smack your smug ass all over the place on all the other games on that thing.”
This time it was Cassie’s turn to go wide-eyed, especially as Savannahburst out laughing and Nicole could barely keep her own composure. Really, showing off like two five-year-olds. They both just needed to grow up.
“Now, stop acting like kids, or I’ll beat both of your asses on the dancing game.” She finished warmly, and honestly…ok, so maybe she needed to grow up a little too…but still, she could.
“Now that I’d like to see” Cassie replied challengingly, yet light-heartedly and Nicole smirked warmly.
“Not until I’ve had a rematch!” Harley demanded in a tone that was still a little pouty, and Nicole laughed softly to herself as she made her way over to him.
“You’re on.” Cassie said confidently before she turned to fiddle with the game on the screen in that odd-Kinect way of waving your hand about.
“Don’t sulk baby, it doesn’t suit you” Nicole said as she slipped her arms around her loving boyfriend’s waist, making him finally look away from staring challengingly at her friend and wrapping his arms around her.
“I’m not sulking…she just…cheated.” He replied sulkily, and Nicole suppressed her grin in favour of a warm look; she seriously doubted that Cassie cheated, she was very good at tennis, despite being as tall as Harley.
“Babe, you can’t beat everyone” She said instead, and then lost what teasing comment that she was about to make as she took in his handsome face; damn but he was good looking. “Besides, who cares if you win, you still have me.”
That last comment finally cracked through the sulky pouting and Nicole felt her heart beat faster as Harley turned and looked down at her with a gorgeous, loving smile.
“That I do” He replied with as much care as his expression conveyed, as he brushed a lock of hair away from her soft cheek tenderly. That was when he suddenly became aware of her dress…and its neckline. The sudden feeling in Nicole’s stomach this time was not butterflies, but something very hard. “Damn, is that that dress? Fuck, Nik…damn you look amazing!”
Nicole’s face brightened with a smile that added to her natural beauty at that and the sudden warmth that flowed down to her pussy from the feel of what was pressing firmly into her stomach was only heightened from the look of desire in Harley’s eyes as he took a step back and looked down at her.
“You’ve seen me in it before” She said dismissively, as if she didn’t really think anything of what he had said, and being a smart man, her fiancé came back with the right response.
“I know, but you look even more gorgeous than I remember” Harley replied as he looked her up and down. When his eyes returned to hers, a playful smile crept onto his face as he gently pulled her towards him. “Shall we forget about going out tonight and just kick everyone out?”
Nicole laughed lightly at that and slipped her arms free to snake them around his neck, gently pressing her soft but firm breasts against his solid chest.
“Mmm, now that’s very tempting…” She began to purr – and damn but it was! – as she looked longingly into his eyes. “…but I think we can wait until later, after all, we can’t be out too long as someone has to be at work tomorrow”
That last was said with more than a little bitterness – light-hearted and understanding bitterness, but bitterness nonetheless. Of course, Nicole did understand why Harley had to go to work, it was Christmas soon after all and the profits his shop made would be a big bonus as always, and tomorrow he had some important meeting with some executive that had been planned for months about expanding the store into a chain, but still, Nicole had been a little disappointed that their ‘engagement party night’ wouldn’t be as wild and long as she had hoped. At least, she had been until now, as Harley looked at her as if he was about to bend her over the sofa and fuck the life out of her with his solidly-hard cock…
…That thought sent a quiver through the hot blonde fiancée that Harley noticed with a desirous smile as he pressed his hard bulge into her stomach a little more. For a moment Nicole began to reconsider cancelling the night…the back of the sofa looked very tempting indeed right then…
“Until later then” Harley replied finally as he kept his eyes locked on hers, that smile of his sending flutters through her insides as he moved a little away from her before glancing momentarily over her shoulder. “Besides, you need to eat, and if you’re not quick I think Georgio will eat every slice.”
The momentary disappointment that she had felt when Harley had backed away was quickly replaced as Nicole glanced over her shoulder to see Georgio trying to stealthily sneak a piece of pizza from the box while appearing to do nothing but watch as Cassie set up the game as she wanted it. That almost made the beautiful blonde laugh again; oh that guy always did make her smile.
“I think you’re right” She said amusedly as she turned back and reluctantly unwound her hands from Harley’s neck…without scratching him…but damn she wanted to! “I have no idea where he puts everything he eats, he has less weight on him than Cassie.”
That made both of them laugh softly, the more so because Georgio had decided to wear very tight, skinny trousers that were almost like leggings, with his blazer and shirt, making him look half like a matchstick man. However, as Nicole should have realized, the mention of Cassie’s name quickly made Harley remember his loss and his demand for a rematch.
And so just as the two of them began to chuckle gently to themselves Harley’s head snapped to look over at where Cassie stood waiting impatiently yet smugly for the game to begin. Nicole simply glanced between the two and then gave a wry, amused look at Savannahbefore she leaned up to kiss her fiancé on the cheek gently.
“Go have fun babe” She said warmly, before adding with a twinkle of playful amusement in her eye, “But try to get along this time, for me?”
The look that Harley gave her was so long-suffering that for a moment Nicole thought that he was going to pout again and say something like ‘it was her, not me’, however all he did in the end was smile and nod before kissing her on the head tenderly.
“I love you, you know that. I’m the luckiest guy in the world for having you as my bride-to-be.” He said and Nicole felt like she was melting inside as she looked up at him with eyes that watered slightly.
“I love you too baby.” She finally managed to reply after she had managed to pull her heart back out of her throat. Reaching up to gently stroke his cheek she added, “And I’m just as lucky as you.”
Nicole felt her heart soar once more as Harley gave her that smile of his again before he once more kissed her, this time softly on the forehead.
“What are you going to do?” He asked as he finally let his hands fall from her.
“I’m going to…” Nicole began to say, fully intending to finish with ‘get some pizza before Georgio eats it all’, however before she could finish what she was saying yet another loud banging knock came from the front door.
“…answer the door, I guess” She finished with a playfully wry smile.
Harley chuckled silently and gave a nod towards the front door as if shooing her away like some servant girl. Giving him a mock outraged look, Nicole slapped him on the ass as he turned away with a wink at her expression, before she quickly dashed into the hallway before he could return the favour.
“I’ll get you for that!” Harley called through after her and Nicole laughed to herself as she walked to the front door.
That smile and good feeling lasted as long as it took the beautiful 24-year-old blonde to reach for the latch and open the frosted glass door.
“Well, well, if it isn’t the beautiful new bride-to-be!” The 25-year-old man standing with one hand resting on the door frame above him said with a very desirous, almost leering, tone that matched his eyes that trailed quickly down her body and the smile he flashed her way, as the rain fell behind him…and Nicole suddenly felt her smile slip.
Leo Castio was one of Harley’s oldest friends, someone that he had skipped school with to joyride in the car that Leo’s father had bought him while they drank what they could steal from Leo’s father’s large bar and try to sneak into x-rated movie showings in Codleton. While the pair of them had grown up since, Leo still had a thing for cars, drink, getting into trouble and women, most definitely women.
That was the reason that Nicole’s smile slid from her lips and the reason why suddenly the beautiful blonde felt all of her defences go up. Leo was a straight-up horn dog, with no use for relationships; in fact he had never been in one (at least one that lasted) since she had known him. All Leo wanted from any woman was sex – when and how he wanted it – and all he thought of most women was that they were just another notch on his bedpost, quickly to be forgotten after he had what he wanted from them What made it worse, though, as far as Nicole was concerned was that Leo would hit on any woman that took his fancy, whether they were single or not…including her. Oh, he never did so openly in front of Harley, or at least when he did he made it seem more like he was ‘playing’ or just being friendly, Leo had hit on her more times than Nicole could count. The guy literally seemed to be either stripping her with his eyes or visualizing what he wanted to do to her, and making no secret of either, whenever he looked at her!
That didn’t mean that she hated him, but how he was (especially around her), and the fact that he not only treated women the way that he did, and then bragged about his ‘conquests’ and kept ‘trophies’ in various forms – from what Harley had told her, made Nicole always feel…uncomfortable, wary, and not really like to be around him, especially alone. In short, she wasn’t overly fond of Leo, but she did try her best to put up with him for Harley’s sake. Fortunately Nicole had learned that the best way to deal with Leo was to brush him off, or take him down a peg or two, rather than let him get a rise out of her – as that just spurred him on – so that was what she would usually do.
The problem was that it wasn’t that easy. Leo was not only a good looking guy, and a successful one at that, but unfortunately he knew both – and moreover, he knew that women knew, and were drawn to him because of it. Standing three inches or so taller than Harley, Leo wasn’t quite as broad but he did keep himself fit and seemed to workout at a room he had converted into a gym at his Downtown apartment, according to Harley. His short, medium brown hair was styled in a way that seemed to make his already amazingly attractive face – that just seemed so chiselled perfectly – even more appealing, especially as he had the most piercing blue eyes that Nicole had ever seen. Add to that the fact that he was very confident in everything, from how he spoke to how he walked or just regarded you when he looked at you, and that, despite no one being exactly sure what he did for a living, he had a large apartment and a decked-out car that showed his success and wealth – and well, it was hardly surprising that he was as successful with as many women as he was, especially as he always dressed well, if a little self-assuredly with his shirt slightly unbuttoned as it was.
“Leo” Was all Nicole replied as she looked up into his smirking face as she held the door open.
She had known that of all nights Leo would be there for this one – after all, it was his friend’s engagement celebration, and of course there would be a lot of women around drinking – but knowing hadn’t made Nicole feel any less uncomfortable; and with the way that the tall, attractive man’s eyes focused on her intently, the beautiful blonde already wished that it had been Harley that had opened the door rather than her.
“What, no welcome hug Nikki?” Leo asked suavely, as he turned his holding onto the door frame into more of a casual, chatting-up kind of a pose.
“What?” She asked in a moment of confusion as she didn’t really know what to reply to that. She certainly didn’t want to give Harley’s friend a hug, that would only encourage him, but then she couldn’t really say no without seeming rude, and no doubt Leo would bring it up in front of Harley if she didn’t which would only mean that she would have to suffer his arms around her then instead. And so reluctantly she smiled friendlily as tentatively moved closer to him with open arms, Oh sorry Leo, sure.”
Nicole had intended on only a very distanced, platonic hug and a gentle pat on the back, however as she opened her arms Leo’s smile deepened and his strong arms quickly encircled her waist, pulling her firmly against his hard body and pressing her large, firm breasts into his chest as he held her closely. All Nicole could do was gently hug him back.
“It’s good to see you as always Nikki” Her fiance’s friend said as his hands pressed flat against the small of her back, one of them closer to her ass than it really should have been, though right then it was how close Leo’s lips were to her neck that had Nicole’s attention. “Congratulations on the engagement”
“Thanks” She replied as friendlily as she possibly could. “Harley will be happy to see you.” She added both honestly and to remind Leo who he was being a little too friendly towards.
The subtle reminder worked about as well as if Nicole had actually said it to him plainly as Leo’s hug just became even tighter and this time both hands descended to rest very close to the tight slopes of her barely covered ass.
The sudden feel of Leo’s fingers gently resting above her ass made Nicole clear her throat and quickly push herself away from him. At least, she managed to push herself somewhat away from him, as Leo’s hands simply slipped up to her waist and held her in front of him as he smiled interestedly, and confidently, down at her, as her hands rested on his shirt-covered chest.
“He’s a very lucky guy. You’re a very beautiful and incredible woman Nikki” Leo said in a slightly more quiet and personal tone, before he let his eyes lower to take all of her in. “You look, mmm, good tonight.”
That was when Nicole suddenly remembered the dress that she was wearing, and the fact that as Leo was a lot taller than she, and she was still close enough to him that her stomach was almost touching his, meant that Harley’s friend would have a pretty nice view of her swelling cleavage. Suddenly, Nicole felt even more uncomfortable under that wandering gaze.
“Thanks, I’m a very lucky girl too” She replied as nonchalantly as she could – which was a great deal more than what she actually felt as her fiance’s friend’s eyes slowly wandered all the way back up her body to her face.
“You could be luckier” Leo said with open insinuation and that charming smile of his, as he let his hands slide a little further up the sides of her body so that they rested tentatively close to the swellings of her full, round, heavy breasts.
“A-ha” Nicole voiced with an embarrassed smile as she finally lifted her hands from Leo’s chest to take hold of his wrists, pushing them down as she stepped back from him. “I doubt that.”
Letting his hands fall away from hers, Leo’s smile broadened at that, and his eyes took on a playfully teasing glint.
“That’s because you’ve got no idea what you’re missing” Leo replied confidently.

Laughing lightly as Harley turned back to the large T.V. and suggested their next game, Nicole turned to reach for one of the pizza boxes, only to find it empty. “It looks like you’ve got someone’s attention” Savannahsuddenly said next to her, causing Nicole to blink before she turned to look at her shorter friend.

Savannah chuckled a little more at that – though this time at Leo rather than Nicole – as she nodded in understanding. “Good game Cas, good game” Harley said in a tone that made his comment a worse smug slap in the face than any haughty comment could have; something Nicole’s friend picked up on as her expression quickly turned icy.
Part of Nicole couldn’t help but smirk – it was always nice to see Harley’s head brought down to size, especially over his games, but it was more fun to watch Cassie’s superior attitude slapped from her face – because as much as Nicole loved her friend, she could be a little arrogant at times.
Still, the last thing the party needed was for Harley and Cassie to fight all night long, and they’d both had their fair share of shots at each other already, and so Nicole gave Savannah an amused, patient look that said ‘I’d better go stop World War III from erupting’ before she made to move towards the competitive pair. However, before the stunning blonde fiancée could even lift one heeled foot, Leo came swaggering over and clapped Harley on the shoulder.
“Well done bro” Leo congratulated Harley as he came to stand beside him, before turning his attention to Cassie…and for the first time that Nicole had ever seen, looked at a woman with arrogant amusement rather than interest. “Still showing the ladies their place, ah?”
The expression on Cassie’s face would have been priceless if Nicole hadn’t been wearing an almost identical look on her own at those words. Even Harley seemed to hesitate a moment, however as he looked back at Cassie, with their rivalry there was only one thing he could say.
“Just her” Harley answered, his own expression growing a little more smug as he looked from Nicole’s friend to his. “She’s good…but I’m better”
“That’s my man” Leo replied as he reached out to grasp Harley’s hand in a congratulatory handshake. “Just don’t get cocky with me H, as you know I’d beat your ass on this thing.”
Nicole watched as Harley gave a joking, ‘yeah right’, kind of chuckle before he turned back to smirk at Cassie – who for the first time that Nicole had ever seen seemed to be at a loss for words, especially comebacks, as she stared back at the two men.

“At least he didn’t hit on you” Savannah added, trying to lift the mood, which didn’t work…but as usual, Georgio’s remark did.

That made Cassie and the rest of them smile.
“I think I’ll do that myself later.” The taller woman replied before she turned around and folded her arm beneath her breasts.

Maybe it was the way that Cassie invested the words ‘his friend’, meaning Harley of course, with her usual distaste, or maybe it was just how she was looking at Leo now and how it had only been Harley that she had glared at. Whatever it was, the beautiful blonde fiancée suddenly realized that despite what he had said, Cassie was only annoyed at Harley as if he was the one who had done something wrong.
“No, he’s just an ass” Nicole responded as she gave a sidelong look at her friend and frowned in thought.

That startling statement stunned Nicole and the others so much that all they could do was laugh in surprise, especially Cassie, though her eyes were still on Leo. Her friend’s smiling eyes made Nicole glance over at her fiancé and his friend as Cassie’s statement reverberated through her mind as she laughed gently. Before Harley could finish, however, Leo interrupted.
“…And I just wanted to congratulate you both together” Her fiancé’s friend interjected, before he offered his hand to Harley, who took it and shook. When Leo turned to her, however, he opened his arms instead.
Glancing from the taller man to her fiancé, who smiled warmly back at her, Nicole tried to hide the small discomfort she felt at letting Leo hug her again – after all, if he were any other guy she wouldn’t have thought twice about a congratulatory hug – as she fake laughed and lightly placed her arms around Leo as she stepped a little forward.
“Congratulations” Harley’s friend said as his hands rested on her slender, half-bare back and gently rubbed up and down.

I didn't feel it as much as the story I wrote after it. I get bored of stories at times if I don't feel them so I change. But I will get back to this story. I just need to feel it again.

I really like the beginning and overall concept of this story. I particularly like the addition of Nicole’s friends. I feel like it adds another layer to the story progression. If you don’t mind me asking, how come you stopped writing this one?
