Would there be any chance you could message me a couple examples/images of how you're setting up your reaper FX to muffle the treble range well? I tried to look up some tutorials and mess with it myself but i'm not getting anything akin to what your videos hit, and i figure it's best to just ask at this point lol.

i've found myself gravitating towards just. blanket muffling the treble range for asmr and ambient roleplays in almost everything to some degree, i'm with you!! (along with just generally finding the effect really useful in a variety of moods from cozy to oppressive, it also makes longer audios a lot easier to listen to without fatigue too, imo :O )

The slow realization that the sound was not the emptiness of space, but instead, being underwater, was quite interesting. Slightly purposely muffled audio is not something I knew I liked, but now I know I do, also. Feels like a thought inside your mind, which never has its own echo.
