Young (Academy) Samus
🕑 Added 2017-06-25 15:58:00 +0000 UTC When you're having a rough week, there's only one thing to do: Draw Samus. One of the few good things to come out of "Other M." I always felt like this hairstyle would make more sense inside of a helmet but I think people would lose their shit if they got rid of that ponytail.
This was originally going to be another quick sketch but I decided to just keep going and eventually ended up with this more realistic style. I used to draw this way all the time, but eventually went back to lineart. Take a look! http://hybridmink.deviantart.com/art/Zero-Suit-Samus-287101340

This is great. For some reason it really reminds me of Shin Kazama from Area 88 (UN Squadron). Check it out: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/0/09/Area88Vol1.jpg

I've never really loved the way Samus is portrated outside of her suit (other than maybe at the end of Prime). I see her as an introvert and a tomboy that probably doesn't take shit from nobody. :)

Duuuuude, I liked her without the ponytail too. Seems sort of impractical. Maybe because I see Samus having tomboy qualities to her while still being quite feminine.
