Oh interesting! If people were expecting a one to one adaptation I can also understand that disappointment yeah. We went into this show with zero expectations so maybe that's why we're just happily along for the ride haha!

Iโm so happy your both enjoying the show!!! Iโve seen many people unhappy with the anime by episode 2 because they expected the adaptation to be unchanged. I personally really prefer a fresh story over a copy and paste adaptation, but I guess I somewhat understand why people are disappointed. On the other hand I wish some of those people would give the show more of a fair shot. Bryan the creator of the comics has always injected his life experience into the story and heโs grown a lot since he first wrote Scott Pilgrim. I think itโs really awesome we get to see how he decided to explore these characters with a fresh lense. Thanks for the wonderful reaction!
